EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT Ernie Gaschler, Executive Director Membership brings brokers great value Every year at this time, IBAS members are asked to renew their membership for the following year. Happily, we’ve always enjoyed the continued support of our members for the work that we do on their behalf. The cost of membership however can be a concern to some members; therefore IBAS must ensure its value is broadly appreciated if it wants to maintain your support into the future. With this in mind, I’d like to believe that our continued value is concentrated in two key areas. The first is our ability to speak out for members to industry and government with one powerful unified voice. This is crucial to amplifying the strength of our message and instrumental to any influence we may gain. The second is our ability to build broad public trust for the broker distribution channel through our national BIP program.
