0 fyK, OV3 ^ S ^ Annual Scholarship ‘Breakfast EDUCATORS FOR KIDS celebrated their tenth an­ nual scholarship breakfast this December with a resounding turnout. There were hundreds of Newark citizens who shared in honoring are bright Shabazz award recipient, Delicia Maynor (Chamblee's, granddaughter) Educators for Kids also honored Mr. Joseph Rendeiro, Principal of Hawkins Street School for his undying devotion to Newark's students. Mr. William Haberthier from Metro Furniture along with Councilmon Augusto Amador were also honored for their ef­ forts in bringing educational programs to the community. Lt. Cicero Mangione and Officer Larry Melio received awards for their involve­ ment with Educators for Kids Youth Pro­ grams. Educators for Kids wishes to thank the many supporters and contributors who help make our annual scholarship programs hap­ pen.
