He was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1976, for the discovery of the J/ψ meson nuclear particle. As a most capable experimental physicist, he led many significant experiments, and made outstanding contributions to development of physics. Video link Samuel Chao Chung Ting Science Museum Samuel Chao Chung Ting Science Museum The museum sits on a large landscape area in the Olympic Water Park. The design goal is that architecture and landscape should be fused into one integrated piece. The concept of “black hole” and “galaxy” is combined in the landscape. The museum located on the extension of Tai’an Road, as the center of the “black hole”, is absorbing the greenfield and paths into it, implying the “power source” of the site comes from the museum.
