DOCUMENT 00 0493 ADDENDUM NO. 3 DATE: March 16, 2017 PROJECT NAME: Clinton County Justice Center – Bid Package #4 Construction Documents This Addendum forms a part of the bidding and contract documents. This Addendum supersedes and supplements all portions of the original bidding and contract documents dated, February 17, 2017, Addendum No. 1 dated March 9, 2017 and Addendum No. 2 dated March 10, 2017, with which it conflicts. ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF THIS ADDENDUM IN THE SPACE PROVIDED ON THE BID FORM. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY SUBJECT THE BIDDER TO DISQUALIFICATION. A. GENERAL CLARIFICATIONS / QUESTIONS 1. The cabinets in Room 1066 weapons/Drugs Room are not part of this Bid package. These cabinets are being provided by the Owner. 2. Bid form has only options for deduct or no bid. RESPONSE: Deduct price not to install canopy; refer to attached ASK-05; or write in “ADD” on the bid form. 3. What is desired with the masonry along building line 9.2 in alternate #5? RESPONSE: Continue CMU wall type to required height; refer to attached ASK-05. 4. Bid form supplements: RESPONSE: Exhibit D is a list of the Subcontractors for their scope of work. 5. Performance and Labor Bond: RESPONSE: A Performance bond is not required until you are awarded the work. Contractor just has to carry the cost to obtain the bond. 6. There are four zones for smoke control; north housing, south housing, padded holding cell, and isolation and medical cells. These areas are served by exhaust fans EF-1, EF-2, EF-7, and EF-10 respectively. System smoke detectors in the housing areas or duct detectors associated with the holding and isolation/medical cells shall be programmed to provide input to the smoke control panels located in Lobby 1033.
