Whereas many studies of the Spanish Inquisition tend to depict inquisitors as faceless and interchangeable, Lynn probes the lives of individual inquisitors to showhowtheiroperationsintheirsocial,political,religious,andintel- lectual worlds set the Inquisition in motion.
