Ragnar tells himself it would be foolish to trust her, even as he becomes her greatest champion. She could be the end of them if she turned her power against them in the coming battle, or she could be the one thing that turns the tides in their favor.
From across the vast ocean an old enemy plots and schemes sending trouble their way. Now the warriors of the Southern Armies under King Rek Morten and the few Danu who have survived to find their true Danu Queen must push aside the last of their mistrust to face a new threat.
One that craves nothing but power and would see the true end of the Danu and anyone else who would stand with them.
