However, it could be used by other members of thedentalteamasitisaself-explanatoryresource. Ithasbeencompiledinorderthatanydentalnurse,whetherworkingwithin adentalpracticethatprovidessedationornot,afterreadingwouldhaveaclear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the dental nurse, enabling them to recognise good practice. It can also be used in conjunction with any course material that may be provided to dental nurses who are sitting the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses’ National Certificate in Dental SedationNursingexamination,asithasbeenwritteninauser-friendlymanner coveringallaspectsrelevanttotheexamination. Thereisnointentionofinstructing/criticisingclinicians,anaesthetistsorany professionals on their role in the surgery, which have only been explained to furthertheknowledgeofdentalnurses.Anyoffenceisentirelyunintendedand apologiesaretenderedforanyperceivedaffront.
