As Pomp and Circum stance plays in the background, we leave the cathedral to celebrate with our friends and families. We have in our hands that important piece of pa per that signifies four years of sweat and tears: the high school diploma. We realize the world is wide open to us now, and we can travel in any di rection we want. But where do we go from here? We have reached another Breaking Point in our lives. 3 Making the break from our younger years, we learned that teachers were not just faucets of information, but they were our second parents, and our friends too. Many have extended themselves in a variety of ways, just to help us graduate. Some day, when we return to visit Barringer, eager to share our new experiences, they will enjoy disco sing with us our adjust ment to po t-high school life. We'll never forget their dedication, because the knowledge that they have given us will Ia t a lifetime. 5 We arrived as freshman young and naive, anticipating our new experiences. As stu dents in junior high school, we often won dered what life was like at the senior high. ow that we have just completed our final year, we can't help but reflect on how much we've progressed since those early years. As graduates, we are older and more ma ture, and we now realize the importance of the breaking point from elementary school, and the significance of elevating to high school. 6
