Less purchasing power, available cash flow, o Expect increases in foreclosures, TDRs, modified loans, and nonaccrual loans Top Economic Concerns • How will the economy and markets respond to rising interest rates? • How fast will they risk? How long? • Inflation….it’s coming! • How will members be able to handle the combination of rising interest rates and inflation? • What happens to IRR if (when) the stock market bubble bursts? Bond market is going to be hit much harder than stock market when rates rise.
