Becauseof myartisticskills,Ifindmyselfinvolvedinactivitiesthatconsistofcomplextechniquesandabilitiesthatmostpeopledonotpossess. Theconstantbombardmentofrequestsformyartisticservicesseemtogoonendlessly;howe:'er,Ialwaysacceptthemwithout wonderinghowIwillfindthetimeinmybusyscheduletocompletethesetasksbecauseIhavelearnedtodisciplinemyselfandto sacrificemyownleisuretimetodoso. DuetomyvariousinterestsIhavedex'elopedclosebondswith manyindividualsandbecauseofmyconfidenceandcourageIhaveacquiredleadershipabilitiesthatonlyincreasemystaturein theeyesofmypeersaswellasinmyown IfeelcomfortableinpositionswhereIamcalledupontoleadfellowstudentsbecauseI feelthattheytrustmydecisionsandcandependonme. Oneofmymaingoalsthroughoutmyhighschoolyearshasbeentobecomeawell-roundedindividualandtokeepa carefulbalancebetweenmyacademicandathleticactivities. Indoingso,IhopetobeacceptedintotheUnitedStatesAirForce Academyupongraduationfromhighschool. AlthoughmanypeoplewonderwhyIwouldwanttoputmywholelifeintothemilitary, beingamilitaryofficertakesmuchtimeandeffort, butIfeelthathavingthechancetoser\'emycountrywillgivemeachanceto ensurethatthepeopleofournationhaveaprosperousfuture. IstandfirminmybeliefsanddreamsandknowthatwithenougheffortandcommitmentIwillfindthecourageto make thosedreamsrealities.
