Deception and Corruption
The historical record of the days of Noah and Lot give us a
mighty warning of where today’s world is rapidly headed.
Massive sea changes in modern society tell a grim tale of woe
and incredible significance filled with terror and appalling fear
for the future of all mankind. Barack Hussein Obama is now
rapidly implementing devious, drastic and dire “changes”
in the American political, social and moral landscape. Where
are we headed? What does tomorrow hold for the world?
What will Obama’s America be like?

George Orwell wrote, “In an age of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary
act.”
Today is an age of unparalleled deception. In fact, deception can be called the new
normal of this world.
God’s Word says: “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil
and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out
with him.” (Revelation 12:9).
Christ Himself declared, “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your
father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth,
because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he
is a liar and the father of it.” (John 8:44).
Isaiah the prophet says of our generation, “Woe to those who call evil good and good
evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for
bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” (Isaiah
5:20-21).
Have you ever trusted someone and wind up feeling “hoodwinked”, because you found
out that you were fooled? Or have you invested in something and then discovered it was a

sham? There are many deceivers out and about stealing the confidence of others who were
convinced to have confidence in them and their ideas. Then their victims, often unsuspecting
women and the elderly, are taken to the cleaners. These “con-men” know how to push the right
buttons, have no conscience and move on to the next person.
The public is beleaguered with a barrage of propaganda trying to program the public to
believe in deceit and lies leading people to willingly become slaves of the New World Order –
those elitists who plan to dictate and rule everyone’s lives. Theoretically, the population will be
glad to have them – because the nations, who have been promised security and safety from the
cradle to the grave, will have put their confidence in them. But God warns us, “For when they
say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a
pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” (IThessalonians 5:3).
From the signs of the times, we are on the eve of sudden destruction.
How Much Time Left?
Recently, I had a discussion about looking at the signs, facts and figures that are evident
in our day and the prophecies of the Bible. I pointed out to him that we take the prophecy of
Daniel 9 and the 70 weeks seriously.
Daniel the prophet was told, ““Seventy weeks [Shavuot] are determined.” Seventy Feasts
of Shavuot would be 70 years! “. . . for your people and for your holy city, to finish the
transgression . . . to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to
anoint the Most Holy.” (Dan.9:24).
So this prophecy says (also) that there will be seventy years to the end point – the coming
of the Messiah and the Kingdom of God, ending the period of man’s transgression on the earth.
“Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and
build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince . . . (v.25). The United Nations voted to partition Israel
in November 1947, and Israel became a state May 14, 1948. Both of these occurred during the
Hebrew year 5708. This would be the date for the restoration of Israel and Jerusalem.
“There shall be seven weeks and sixty two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the
wall [of protection], even in troublesome times” (v.25b). Seven “weeks” also means “seven
Shavuot,” or Feasts of Weeks – meaning “seven years.” Sixty two “weeks” likewise can mean
62 years. So we have a period of seven years, and a period of 62 years. From Israel’s inception
in 1948, there was war. The nation was born in a bloodbath as surrounding Arab nations
immediately attacked.
In May, 1948, Israel had to fight the surrounding Arab nations which invaded her
territory, and the following years were “troublesome times.” War again broke out in 1956, and
in 1967 the “Six Day War” was fought, and the “Yom Kippur War” in 1973, then the invasion of
Lebanon in 1982, and the subsequent Palestinian intifada in 1987, lasting to the present time.

The Hebrew word for “weeks” in the prophecy of the 70 weeks, is the word shavuot. It
also designates the “Feast of Shavuot,” or “Feast of Weeks,” which follows Passover, fifty days
later. We are told to “count seven weeks,” till the 50th day, from the day after Passover, counting
beginning Nisan 16, and the fiftieth day is “Shavuot,” the Feast of Weeks. Its name is derived
from the counting of seven weeks from Passover, thus, “Feast of Weeks.”
The Hebrew word Shavuot, therefore, also refers to an ANNUAL HOLY DAY, which is
counted, and looked forward to with great expectancy and joy. Anciently, it represented the day
of the covenant God made with Israel on that day at Mount Sinai.
The Hebrew word “Shavuot” literally means #7620, shavua, (plural Shavuot), and means
“literally sevened, i.e. a week.” It also means, #7621, “something sworn, an oath.” It was at
Mount Sinai, after a period of seven sevens, that the Feast of Shavuot was arrived at, and it was
the day God and Israel swore an “Oath” – a Covenant of Marriage.
So literally, the prophecy of Daniel is the prophecy of “seventy sevens” or even “seventy
Shavuot” – that is, Festivals of Shavuot. If we look at it that way, then seventy such Festivals
would equal 70 years, as the Feast occurs once a year!
70 Shavuot which is the Feast of Weeks would equal 70 years. Israel became a state once
again in 1948, and 70 years from 1948 brings us to the year 2018. However, Psalm 90:10 says:
“The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, yet
their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away. 11 Who knows the
power of your anger? For as the fear of you, so is your wrath. 12 So teach us to number our days
that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
So the span of 70 or 80 years would be acceptable as a generation. If God gives us 80
years since the founding of Israel in 1948, that would bring us to 2028. But 70 years is the
normal life span of a generation, so 2018 would be the concluding year of the prophecy or at
least a KEY DATE in the fulfillment of the prophecy.
The Fig Tree
Along these same lines, Jesus Christ declared, “Now learn this parable from the fig tree:
When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that
summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the
doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things
take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.”
(Matthew 24:32-35).
The fig tree is a symbol of Israel. The fig tree/Israel began to put forth new leaves in
1948 during this generation. What is a generation? In this case, it is talking about the life span of
those who were born when Israel was born and became a nation in 1948. Therefore, those born
in 1948 will be 70 years old in 2018, four years from now and eighty years would be 2028.

Take a look at the world scene today, with the sudden plummet to depravity, the
worldwide violence, the horrendous march of militant Islam across the Middle East and
throughout the world, and war in the Crimea part of the Ukraine, and threatening war in Asia
between China and its neighbors, Japan, the Philippines and Vietnam – the whole world seems to
have gone mad – berserk – insane.
Blood Red Moons
In addition to this, we have the signs of the tetrad of blood moons that are to occur in
2014 and 2015 at Passover and Feast of Tabernacles (appointed holy days of God), as an
indication that something profound is up and about to occur.
The blood moons are a sign of significant events happening to Israel in the world as
occurred in 1948 at the time Israel became a nation and 1967 Israel’s Six Day War. It stands to
reason that the tetrad of the blood moons occurring in 2014 and 2015 will also be significant.
Very likely, they will pin point the end of the age and the coming of the Great Tribulation, and
therefore also the coming of the Messiah.
World on Economic Fire
If you have, you've seen all too clearly that a currency and economy's hardest times share
an eerily familiar pattern. And if we can learn anything from lessons past, it's that America's day
of reckoning is fast approaching.
With $127 trillion in unfunded liabilities - that's $1.1 million owed per taxpayer - the
United States' financial future looks bleak indeed. As anyone who keeps a balance on their
checkbook knows, sooner rather than later, those bills will come due. And when they do, the US
will be unable to borrow another penny - not until it proves it can clean the slate.
That's not an if . . . but a when . . . And not someday . . . but SOON!
The result will be chaos. Long lines at the gas station, banks refusing to give you your
money, rapidly rising food prices (milk and corn subsidies will disappear quickly), and
eventually, riots in the streets by those most acutely affected.
According to Egon von Greyerz, economist, the “world is on fire and will soon see a
2008-style collapse” (King World News, July 10, 2014).
Says von Greyerz, “The cracks in the world and the world economy are getting greater by
the day, and we are soon entering a stage where these cracks will turn into black holes. One
of Portugal's largest banks is now under real financial pressure. And in Austria, the Hypo Alpe
Bank is finished. Erste Bank is also under pressure due to major losses on mortgage loans in
Swiss francs to Hungary and Romania. . . .
“We've been discussing for a while how the European banks are not reflecting their true
bad debt situation, and this is not just in countries like Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Greece, but also
in France.

“In Germany, Deutsche Bank, which has 50-times leverage, is also having problems.
Even in Sweden, whose economy is considered robust, they could not survive a major increase in
interest rates. The Swedes are borrowing more than most European countries in relation to their
size.

“Stock markets are still at ridiculous levels in many countries. In the U.S., for example,
there are a lot fewer people employed, and the ones who have jobs have not seen a real wage
increase for the last 30 years. The U.S. also has massive debts and deficits, and on top of that
GDP is falling. Is that the sign of a booming economy? No, certainly not.”

The Collapsing Dollar

A collapsing worldwide economy, and the threat of the death of the dollar, bode ominous
tidings for the world’s financial system, now teetering on the brink of destruction. A global
challenge to the US dollar as the reserve standard international currency is being put into effect
at this moment by Russia, Brazil, China and India. Loose US monetary policy or, in other words,
the increased amount of US dollars released into the global economy by the Fed is causing
significant anger and upset in many countries.
“BRICS Development Bank (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) has been
established on July 15, 2014 in the now-going BRICS summit (in Brazil). It is an epoch-making
event for the global south. A financially multi-polar world begins with the establishment of the
much-hyped BRICS bank. It is the beginning of the end of US dollar-dominance and the
dominance of the Bretton Woods institutions – the World Bank and the International Monetary
Fund. The currency reserve pool will also help the BRICS countries to gradually establish
cooperation without the use of the dollar” (CounterCurrents.org 7/16/14).
The only value the US dollar has is as the world’s reserve currency. [Read about the
collapse of the Bretton Woods Agreement, and the deal between Henry Kissinger and the
Saudi’s for how the US dollar became the only accepted currency for oil – petrodollars – and
how that morphed into it becoming the world’s reserve currency]. The International Monetary
Fund (IMF) was established at the same time. Basically, it acts as the lender to the world. The
US and Europe pull most of the purse strings, and are thus able to control who gets money and
who doesn’t. They set the conditions for receiving the money – with whom you may trade, how
much debt your country is allowed to have, how much money must be raised via taxes and
assessments. If the US dollar were to be replaced in international trade by some other currency
(or “basket” of currencies) the dollar would become just like any other world currency – mostly
valuable only to those who use it inside their own borders. Outside of the US, the dollar would
be of no special value, thus it would crash in comparison to other world currencies. This means
that anything we imported would skyrocket in price.
Grievous times are approaching the world. It is rapidly becoming like the generation of
Noah’s time. No matter where you look, the world appears to be on a precipice – on the brink
of catastrophe. The Middle East is on fire, and revolution is spreading like wildfire. A massive
“Meltdown” is imminent. Notice how conditions compare to Noah’s time.

The World Before the Flood
We read in Genesis, chapter 6: “In those days, and for some time after, giant Nephilites
lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with women, they gave birth to
children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient times.5 The LORD observed the
extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined
was consistently and totally evil. 6 So the LORD was sorry he had ever made them and put them
on the earth. It broke his heart. . . . 11Now God saw that the earth had become corrupt and was
filled with violence. 12 God observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth was
corrupt. 13 So God said to Noah, ‘I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have
filled the earth with violence.’ ” (Genesis 6:4-13).
“Divine Beings”
There is a lot to this short passage of Scripture. The Tanakh has verse one, “When men
began to increase on earth and daughters were born to them, DIVINE BEINGS saw how
beautiful the daughters of men were and took wives from among those that pleased them. . . . It
was then and later too, that the Nephilim appeared on earth—when the DIVINE BEINGS
cohabited with the daughters of men, who bore them offspring” (verses 1-4).
Josephus, the ancient Jewish historian described that world age thus: “Now this posterity
of Seth continued to esteem God as the Lord of the universe, and to have an entire regard for
virtue, for seven generations; but in process of time they were perverted, and forsook the
practices of their forefathers . . . But for what degree of zeal they had formerly shown for virtue,
they now showed by their actions a double degree of wickedness, whereby they made God to be
their enemy; for many ANGELS OF GOD accompanied with women, and begat sons that proved
unjust, and despisers of all that was good, on account of the confidence they had in their own
strength, for the tradition is that these men did what resembled the acts of those who the Grecians
call giants” (Antiquities of the Jews, bk.1, 3:1).

Corruption and Violence
Everything that God had created had been corrupted and perverted.
“And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his
heart” (Gen.6:5-6). The Hebrew word for “great” here is rab and means “abundant,” in every
way – size, shape, quantity – a “multitude, abounding, exceeding, vast, large, powerful.” Thus
evil DOMINATED the earth at that time – it sat in high offices, governmental authorities, the
powers that existed were wicked and shameful through and through.
The Hebrew for “every imagination of the thoughts of his heart” means, THE WHOLE
IMAGINATION – the Hebrew signifies also the purposes and desires of the heart –
EVERYTHING about mankind's motives, schemes, plots, conquests, lusts, ideas, dreams,
fantasies – it was ALL WICKED, building on itself, feeding on itself, growing and multiplying,
ALL THE TIME – incessantly, continuously, without interruption!

Mankind's thoughts were exclusively evil and wicked – “continually,” or, as the Hebrew
implies, “EVERY DAY.” And in verse 11 we read: “The earth also was CORRUPT before God,
and the earth was FILLED WITH VIOLENCE.” Again, the word for “corrupt” here is shatach,
and means, “to decay, ruin, cast off, destroy, mar, spill, spoil.” Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee
Lexicon says of this word: “To destroy, to ruin, either by laying waste, as a country, region, or
field . . . or by pulling down, as walls, a city, or by wounding, or by killing, both individuals and
whole peoples.”
In other words, the earth was filled with destruction, of every kind, ruining the planet,
including environmental waste and pollution – and it was filled with violence, murders,
massacres, and even “ethnic cleansing” and GENOCIDE, during the times of Noah.
The Jamison, Faucett, Brown Critical, Experimental Commentary notes, “The corruption
had not only become universal, it had assumed a colossal character in the two aspects of lust and
cruelty; and so intent were the men of that period in devising means of indulging the lowest
propensities of their nature, that not only did they commit deeds of wickedness, but the ‘very
imagination of their thoughts’—those embryonic beginnings of emotional mental activity which
give moral character to all that proceeds from them—‘were only evil continually.’ The language
implies a prodigious excel of depravity.”
The Adam Clarke Commentary states, “They were in a state of wickedness. All was
corrupt within, and all unrighteous without; neither the science nor practice of religion existed.
Piety was gone, and every form of sound words had disappeared. This wickedness was great
[rabbah], ‘was multiplied;’ it was continually increasing and multiplying increase by increase,
so that the whole earth was corrupt before God, and was filled with violence, profligacy among
the lower, and cruelty and oppression among the higher classes, being only predominant.”
The word violence in this verse is chamac in Hebrew and means, “violence, wrong,
unjust gain, cruelty, damage, false, injustice, oppression.” The earth during Noah's time was
filled with wrong, injustice, oppression, and violence – and the world today is filled with the
very same thing – the very same EVIL SYSTEM! Governments plunder, rape, destroy, steal, and
oppress their people. Nations become enslaved. Freedoms and liberties are lost. Violence,
extortion, fraud, and wickedness fill the earth. Part of the cause of these heinous evils and
horrendous crimes, is the repudiation and rejection on the part of mankind of the moral, spiritual
and ethical LAWS OF GOD, which themselves produce justice, righteousness, equity, peace,
goodness, and genuine concern for one’s brother.
The Chumash
The Jewish Chumash says of the Genesis account: “The behavior of people deteriorated.
At first they were corrupt – being guilty of immorality and idolatry – and they sinned covertly,
before God. Later, the earth had become filled with robbery – which was obvious to all. Then
the entire earth was corrupted, because man is the essence of the world, and his corruption
infects all of creation. Such is the progression of sin. It begins in private, when people still have

a sense of right and wrong. But once people develop the habit of sinning, they gradually lose
their shame, and immoral behavior becomes the accepted – even the required – norm. In Noah’s
time, the immoral sexual conduct of the people extended to animals as well, until they too
cohabited with other species.
“The Midrash teaches that they stole from one another in petty ways that were not subject
to the authority of the courts. Though this is not the gravest kind of sin, it is morally damaging
to the extreme, because thievery within the letter of the law weakens the conscience and corrupts
the social fabric” (commentary on Genesis 6:11-12).
However, another vitally important factor caused God to become nauseated and furious
with the world before the Flood.
Homosexual Marriage!
In an issue of Inside Israel Newsletter (vol.13, no.7), Rabbi Chaim Dov Keller is reported
as writing in the “Jewish Observer”, “The Midrash (Acharei Mos) tells us that the Generation of
the Flood was wiped out only because they wrote marriage contracts between males just as they
did for conventional couples.” We can better understand the cultural expression “only because”
as meaning “the singular primary reason” in importance as to the cause of why God brought the
Flood upon the world at that time in antiquity – HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGES!.
Homosexuality has once again risen to the top in today’s foul, bestial, corrupt world, with
gay marriages being legalized in state after state, and the Obama administration endorsing
homosexual conduct in society and the military.
How similar the world then was to OUR WORLD, TODAY!
Sodom and Gomorrah
Homosexuality is rampant today, worldwide. Great Britain, Europe, and Israel also have
formidable homosexual men and women who will not be restrained and who curse and flip their
finger at God and His laws.
Homosexual activities were undoubtedly contributing of the “crying and shrieking”
which God heard before He decided to physically annihilate the cities. Listen to the Biblical
account: “And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because
their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether
according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.” (Gen 18:20-21) .
The Parallel Bible gives the Amplified Bible Commentary rendering: “And the Lord
said, Because the shriek of the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is exceedingly
grievous, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether as vilely and wickedly
as is the cry of it which has come to Me; and if not, I will know.” (Genesis 18:20-21).

Do the sexual practices of homosexuality produce screaming and shrieking?
The normal practice of anal intercourse produces such shrieking, for the tissue in those
body parts were never meant for intercourse. Additionally, some other practices homosexuals
regularly perform produce extreme pain which causes such a crying out.
A Shameful World
The apostle Paul tells us about that same time, and the way the world is becoming today.
He declared, “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to
dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and
worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. For this reason
God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is
against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust
for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the
penalty of their error which was due” (Romans 1:24-27).

The degradation of the world today has become increasingly like the days of Noah.
Today, homosexuality is broadcast and flaunted everywhere and God says it is an abomination.
The world has become abominable in his sight.
The apostle Jude writes about this awesome retribution: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrah,
and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to FORNICATION [Greek,
ekporneuo meaning “to be utterly, exceedingly unchaste” – totally immoral, and acting the
harlot, including adultery and incest], and going after STRANGE FLESH [Greek, "other" flesh,
ie., homosexuality, and bestiality!], are set forth for an EXAMPLE, SUFFERING THE
VENGEANCE OF ETERNAL FIRE" (Jude 7).
God Almighty, our Creator, considers these sins to be so GREAT and GRIEVOUS that
He destroyed the world before the Flood because of flagrant homosexuality -- men marrying
men, and women marrying women. He likewise consumed in a fiery holocaust the homoerotic
cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their inhabitants, for the very same reason! God is not
"homophobic"-- that is, He does not "fear" homosexuals or their conduct -- but He is definitely
"homomiseobic" -- that is, He HATES, and DETESTS homosexuality and the conduct of
homosexuals! Their life style completely destroys and perverts His great Plan for mankind and
womankind! God thunders in His Law:
“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed
ABOMINATION: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. . .
“And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman and the
beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them” (Leviticus 20:13-16)
Ultimately, it was the gross and terrible sin of homosexuality which was the "last straw,"
which caused God Almighty to WIPE OUT THE WORLD of mankind, before the Flood, except

for the family of Noah. Noah was "a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked
with God" (Gen.6:9). Only Noah and his family were spared.

Jesus Christ spoke of this frightful time. We read in the Olivet prophecy, Christ’s
disciples came to him privately saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the
sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?”
Jesus answered saying let no one deceive you and told them of the Signs of the Times
(vs.4-9) that must come to pass and the End of the Age; the Great Tribulation (vs.15-26); the
Coming of the Son of Man (vs. 29-30).

To what did He compare those soon-coming horrendous days of calamity, catastrophe,
and travail upon the earth?
Notice!
“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in
the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until
the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away,
so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
“Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this
that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have
watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of
Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Matt.24:37-44).

America’s Death Spiral

Our country is under a radical, evil dictator and end-time tyrant the antichrist—under his
rod and thumb.
Our people don’t recognize that radical terrorists of the 1960s and ‘70s are back one
hundred-fold with a vengeance and greater power than ever. They have infiltrated our
government and the halls of power, the corridors of Congress, and the Presidency itself and the
entire Administration and executive branch.
We are under the thumb of Satan the devil and the Antichrist. America is being run
according to the devil’s playbook. Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals
is the work of Saul D. Alinsky, published in 1971. This book was a tutor used by Communist
radicals in our land back in the 1970’s during the Viet Nam War. Alinsky was an American
community organizer, master politician and writer generally considered to be the founder of
modern community organizing—a Marxist without the red flag. His "community organizing"
methods and philosophy have had a profound influence on the politics of the United States.
The fact that our top political leadership has embraced this amoral set of tactics for
political gain should cause all Americans concern. Recent history would suggest that this
influence is just short of catastrophic.
