ICAIECES 2017 received 250 paper submissions from India and five foreign countries.Allpaperswerepeer-reviewedbyexperts,andcommentshavebeensent to the authors of accepted papers. Finally, 69 papers were accepted for oral pre- sentation in the conference. This corresponds to an acceptance rate of 31% and is intended to maintain the high standards of the conference proceedings. The papers includedinthisAISCvolumecoverawiderangeoftopicsinintelligentcomputing andalgorithmsandtheirreal-timeapplicationsinproblemsfromdiversedomainsof science and engineering. TheconferencewasinauguratedbyDr.M.Y.S.Prasad,IndianScientistandthe former Director of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.
