CCF-ICAI, hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF) and co-organized by CCF Artificial Intelligence & Pattern Recognition Society, is an international confer- ence in the field of artificial intelligence. It aims to provide a leading international forum for researchers, practitioners, and other potential users in artificial intelligence and related fields to share their new ideas, progress, and achievements. The selected papers included in the proceedings not only address challenging issues in various aspects of artificial intelligence, but also synthesize contributions from related disci- plines that illuminate the state of the art. CCF-ICAI2018received82fullsubmissions.Eachsubmissionwasreviewedbyat least three reviewers. Based on the reviewers’ comments, 17 papers were finally accepted for presentation at the conference, with an acceptance rate of 20.7%. The proceedings of CCF-ICAI 2018 are published as a dedicated volume of CCIS by Springer. We are grateful to Prof. Masashi Sugiyama from RIKEN/University of Tokyo, Dr.MingZhoufromMicrosoftResearchAsia,andProf.ShuichengYanfromNational University of Singapore/Qihoo 360 AI Institute for giving keynote speeches at CCF-ICAI 2018.
