Sp/iina/ T hough last year's Spring sports season was an unusually cold and wet one, Tech Titans continued to play hard and give it their best. An extended winter, doubled with a perpetual downfall of showers made it extremely difficult for athletes to show their stuff. Despite harsh weather, girls tennis managed to win the IPSAC championship, while other sports such as track and 1912 \/££ Softball had to cancel many meets due to inclimate weather. Theseasonstarted offwellwith the Titans winning two oftheir firstthreegames. Oneofthese winsincludeda 12-4 victoryovertheeventualcitychampions, Ritter. Though the regularseason was a dis- appointment, the Titans summer league learn experiencedgreatsuccess. Tech's recordearned them an invitation to a summer league tour- namentheldin Bloomiugton.
