On a Wing and a Prayer Horse Farm – For the Love of the Game
In 2001, On a Wing and a Prayer Horse Farm was established based on producing the ultimate
performance horse by finding the best combination of solid confirmation, unstoppable power,
remarkable durability, beauty and elegance. We have found and incorporated the legendary
breeding of both Arabians and Quarter Horses. We have included bloodlines from stallions such
as AM Good Oldboy, AM Seagfreed, Zees Megabucks and Smart Little Lena. All of these
stallions have the attributes for which we strive for. Over the years we have fine tuned our goals
to include one of the most exciting rides one can have on horseback, “Cutting”. After several
years of training and hard work our mare, AM Shahrazad, in 2007, was named National
Champion in the $5000.00 Novice Cutting Horse and the Reserve Champion in the Cutting Non-
Pro. AM Shahrazad has gone on to win multiple titles in Scottsdale and several TACHA year
end awards. In 2010 our champion mare foaled a beautiful filly for which we have high hopes in
the cutting pen. Only time will tell.
Along with the filly we have several horses, all in varying stages of training, that are showing
great promise and we hope to have them in the cutting pen soon.
