Aquaponics : Definition
• Aquaculture: The production of aquatic
plants or animals
• Hydroponics: Growing plants without
soil in a liquid or soilless media and
nutrient solution
• Aquaponics: The combination of
aquaculture and hydroponics into a
single connected system
