InthissecondeditionofAppliedTribologyallthechapterswereupdatedtoreflectrecent developments in the field. In addition, this edition contains two new chapters: one on the fundamentals of seals and the other on monitoring machine behavior and lubricants, as well as bearing failure analysis.
