Paphitis Law Scope: Architecture Size: 1,060 sqm Location: Limassol, Cyprus The Building is located on the most upcoming business avenue in Limassol at a T junction with easy access to the center of the Town and the motorway with connections to all other Cities of the Island. The wedged shape of the plot, its small size (460sqm) and its orientation were the major design challenges. Naval architecture was a major influence forthe conceptdesign. The building accommodates around 640sqm of office space in 4 floors as well as an additional basement for storage/archive, cafe/staff room and IT/servers room. It demonstrates a modern design philosophy and satisfies the requirements in flexibility, space, size and occupancy configuration. PROJECTS | OFFICES Imperio Makariou Client: Imperio Properties Scope: Architecture Size: 6,386 sqm Location: Limassol, Cyprus Located on one of Limassol’s busiest road this office building rises as an organic part of the city. The green verandas and the floor variation contribute to add this building as one of the city’s landmarks. UDSarchitects proposed a compact and efficient organic layout, which resulted inataller volume to make up for the reduced footprint. The solution was to parametrically shape the 10 floors of the building into a shell, to minimize the structure’s shadow. Through this operation, an elegant figure emerged that responds to its surroundings by opening up views towards the city. The building will provide 3,200-square-meters of flexible space which can accommodate both offices and housing, as well as retail spaces, restaurants, cafes and parking. PROJECTS | OFFICES
