Decision was made to combine aircraft towing and runway crossing into a single rating At the same token, identified a number of trainers from stakeholders as facilitators for future rounds of examination All operators were required to take paper examination. for ordinary operator, the passing mark was set at 80% for trainer, the passing mark was set at 90% 7 Recertification Programme After the initial rounds, AA trainers conduct briefing to trainers and the trainers thereafter provide training / briefing to ordinary operators Examinations conducted in paper format Current validity of the Airfield Operator’s Certificate is 2 years and in the process of reviewing Cost Recovery Basis 8 The Recertification Programme that has begun in 2009 Programme Operators Involved 1.
