I never had :Ms. :Fagan as a teacfzeTj but wlien I needed lielp witli my work, slie a{wa3s opened lier doors and weCcomed me with open arms. Ms. Fagan always had a joke and an ever-ready smile. You could tell that she truly enjoyed teaching. Ten years ago, I had Miss Fagan for class both in sophomore and junior year, Even though I wa ag oo/ball and probably considered a distraction, she treated me with respect, she shared a lot o laughs with us, and I will remember her for her compassion and her sense of humor, Years later, I can definitely say that she left an impression on me, and I think that '.s one of the best thing you can say about a teacher.Job well done Miss Fagan Rest in peace ... Dan Buckley 4 In Loving Memory of Ms. Fagan One August afternoon, laying around watching television, I received a phone call from Amanda, my best friend. "Dutch, I have terrible news that will break your heart," she warned, "Ms. Fagan passed away this morning." I was stunned shocked and silent. Instantly I thought 'This has to be a joke, she is to strong to give up.' But sadly, the day of August 18, 2009 Ms. Fagan was gone in a blink of an eye. At that moment, I was unsure of what to do. Should I cry? Should I share my feelings with my family? Just like that I was lost in a sea of thoughts, moments, memories, even meioses Soon I found myself at her wake, I drifted to her side and whispered a prayer. As I arose, I choked out a final goodbye, thanking her for always being there for me. She taught with passion, she was caring, kind, and committed. She was tough, with her students' best interest at heart a feisty angel. She laughed all the time and her laughter was great- infectious and magical I thought she was frail and weak, she had the heart of a lion. She will be missed terribly, but her spirit will never die. Ms. Fagan will forever be the strongest woman in my eyes- a true hero And I will miss her and carry her memory in my heart. -Caitlyn Dutcher Sfie tauglit more tfian science, slie tauglit about frierulsliip, foya[ty, am£ trust. 5
