Its dark unimpaired ‘essential characteristics’ are exposed throughout thesevolumes. CatholicSlaughtersandHolocausts The term genocide is applied in this book in a broad sense to encompass: mass conversions under duress; the severe aftermaths of discriminatory laws; mass expul- sionsandtheirconsequences;andmassmurders.
