After reading this book, you will come to the ineluctable conclusion that the anticrhrist is here, now, among us. The prophesied son of perdition has come “after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10. This book documents that the antichrist has in fact given an esoteric confession to being the antichrst. You will read how the antichrist, who is now in the world, fulfills Daniel’s prophecy of thinking to change the time and the laws, (Daniel 7:25) and Paul’s prophecy of sitting “in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:4) You will learn who is the mysterious false prophet in the book of Revelation, and how he assists the antichrist in his spiritual warfare against God and man by introducing false doctrine into churches today. This book is not written to criticize or offend those who are followers of the antichrist. I was at one time a member of that large deluded class of people. I was saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ out of the darkness of ignorance that is the religion of the antichrist. This book is written to warn those people who have been misled by the spiritual dissimulation of the antichrist so that they can obey the command of God to “come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Revelation 18:4) The spiritual success of the antichrist can be measured by the obstreperous vehemence of his defenders. The followers of the religion of the antichrist simply cannot believe that the true character of their spiritual leader is completely contrary to his public image. The deluded followers are ignorant of the devices of the devil and cannot imagine hypocrisy on such a grand scale. The antichrist finds the roots of his character in the hypocrisy of the scribes and Pharisees. We unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. (Matthew 23:27-28) The antichrist, like the scribes and Pharisees before him, camouflages his villainous character behind a facade of righteousness. The antichrist is above all things an arch-practitioner of hypocrisy. What is hypocrisy but “behavior that does not agree with what someone claims to believe or [1] feel.” Noah Webster probably defined hypocrisy best: 1. Simulation; a feigning to be what one is not; or dissimulation, a concealment of one's real character or motives. More generally, hypocrisy is simulation, or the assuming of a false appearance of virtue or religion; a deceitful show of a good character, in morals or religion; a counterfeiting of religion. Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Luke 12:1. 2. Simulation; deceitful appearance; false pretense. [2] Hypocrisy is the necessary burden of villainy. The antichrist’s adeptness as a hypocrite is the reason for his evil success. Indeed, to be the antichrist, his evil character must be concealed beneath a disguise of piety. “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:14-15. The key to revealing the identity of the antichrist is to uncover his hypocrisy. Because the hypocrisy of the antichrist is so extreme, those who have been hoodwinked by his religious doctrines will be shocked to learn of it. This book exposes the concealed iniquity of the antichrist and juxtaposes it against his publicly proclaimed false persona of righteousness, thus bringing into clear relief that man of sin, the son of perdition, who is truly a ravening wolf in sheep’s clothing, speaking lies in hypocrisy. See Matthew 7:15 and 1 Timothy 4:1-3. Edward Hendrie January 12, 2015 1 The Confession of the Antichrist The first mention of the antichrist in scripture is made by Jesus Christ. “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” (Matthew 24:5) Jesus did not use the word antichrist, but he was clearly warning of “many” who would come claiming to be Christ. Jesus clarified his warning a few verses later when he stated: “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matthew 24:24) See also, Mark 13:22. Jesus warned of false (pseudo) Christs (plural). In identifying the antichrist, one should not look for one but rather “many,” who will not only oppose Jesus Christ but also seek to take his place as Christ. John builds on what Jesus had warned and for the first time in scripture comes out and calls the false Christ, antichrist. “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” 1 John 2:18. Notice the warning of John includes the point that even then there were many antichrists (plural). We know from what John and Jesus said that antichrist, while a singular noun, is intended to describe a person who occupies an office that is filled by “many” antichrists. Christian historian J. A. Wylie explains the significance of the title, antichrist, used by John. Wylie’s sublime writing cannot be equaled, and so I will quote him directly: Who is Antichrist? It will help us to the right answer to this question if we shall first determine, What is Antichrist? Antichrist is an enemy who makes war with the Son of God. Of that there is no doubt. But what is the form of this war, and under what character does Antichrist carry it on? Does he wage it openly, or does he fight it under a mask? Does he take the field as an open rebel and a declared foe, or does he come as a friendly adherent who professes to bring support and help to the cause which, in reality, he seeks to undermine
