MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Greetings and welcome to Anson Community College. This is your com-
munity college and we are here to serve you.
Asa full-service community college, we can provide the appropriate instruc-
tion to meet your educational goals. In addition, we provide support services
such as counseling, job placement, financial aid and learning resources.
Whether you are pursuing a college transfer or technical degree, a vocational
diploma, or are taking individual courses to improve your job skills, we pledge
to provide the very best teaching and learning environment possible. We have
highly qualified instructors who are prepared to assist you in reaching your goals.
As a college, we have dedicated ourselves to providing quality instruction con-
sistent with the highest educational standards.
These are exciting times for the college. During the past two years, the college
has experienced phenomenal growth in enrollment, presenting new challenges
and opportunities. New educational programs are in place and additional pro-
grams are being planned to meet the changing needs of our community. Access
to Internet is now available to students attending the Polkton Campus.
The faculty, staff, and administration of Anson Community College are here
to serve you and provide the best education and training possible. We can help
