Jim also servesasEngineerandOperatorfortheTown's cableaccesschan- nel51.HehaspreviouslyservedtheTownasamemberofthePlanningBoard(8 years), aswellasthePersonnelCommittee andtheRoad's Committee. Asifallthisweren'tenough, overtheyearsJim alsofurnishedandinstalled theTown'sfirstcomputerequipment.Hehasalsomadeanumberofvideodocu- mentaries fortheTown. Jim also serves as amemberoftheBoardofDirectors ofthe SouthernN.H. YMCA/CampLincoln.Awellknowntheaterorganistandpipeorganbuilder,he hasrebuiltand installedtwopipe organs inKingston. Jim is agraduate ofClemsonUniversitywith adegree in Electronics Engi- neering. He is also aProfessionalRegisteredEngineerand aretiredengineering executive withmore thanthirtyyears ofmanagementexperience. Jim'sresume includes 17yearsmilitary serviceas aLt. CommanderUSNR. Fatheroffive grown children, Jim resides with his wife Charlotte on Clark Road in Kingston. We're proud to count James Theodore Rankin, Sr. among Kingston's most valuable assets.
