To choose one Selectman for three years, one Town Clerk/Tax Collector for three years, one Library Trustee for three years, one Trustee of the Trust Funds for three years, one Trustee of the Trust Funds for one year, two Auditors forone year, and all such officers and agentsas may be necessary forthe transaction ofTown'sbusiness fortheensuing year. ARTICLE 2, To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $173,115 forgeneral townoperations. To see iftheTown will vote to authorize the Board ofSelectmen to apply for,receiveandexpend federaland stategrants which maybecomeavailable during thecourse ofthe year, in accordance with RSA 31:95-b, andalso to accept and expend money from any othergovernmental unit orprivate source to be used forpurposes forwhich thetown maylegallyappropriatemoney. ARTICLE 5. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriatefortheCroydonPoliceDepartment. ARTICLE 6. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriatefortheCroydon VolunteerFireDepartment. ARTICLE 7. To see ifthe Town will vote toauthorize the Board ofSelectmen to enter into a lease agreement for the purpose of leasing a backhoe/loader for the Highway Department, and to raise and appropriate the sum of $8,775 (eight thousandsevenhundredseventy-fivedollars)forthatpurpose. ARTICLE 8. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $10,000 (ten thousand dollars) forthepurpose ofpaying towardtheNew Highway GarageNote. ARTICLE9. To see iftheTown will vote to direct theTrusteesoftheTrustFund to entitle the present Capital Reserve Fund "New Equipment" to read Capital Reserve Fund "Highway Department Equipment" and establish said account in 1991. ARTICLE 10. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $10,000 (ten thousand dollars) for the Capital Reserve Fund for Highway DepartmentEquipment. ARTICLE 11. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriateforthe supportoftheNewportSeniorCitizens, Inc. ARTICLE 12. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate forthepurposeofanofficialoutsideTownAudit. ARTICLE 13. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriatetoconstructahandicapaccessramp totheTown Hall. ARTICLE 14. To see whatsum ofmoney the Town will authorize the Selectmen to withdraw from the Revenue Sharing Account to offset the expenditures of the GeneralHighwayExpenseAccountduringthe 1991 calendaryear. ARTICLE 15. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for theresurfacingofPine Hill Roadand/orLoverin Hill Road, and to authorizetheSelectmen to withdraw monies from theRevenueSharing Accountto offsettheexpenses formaterialspurchased fortheproject(s), saidamounttobeno morethan$15,000(fifteen thousanddollars). Page 7 ARTICLE 16. To see ifthe Town will raise and appropriate the sum of$27,000 (twenty-seven thousand dollars) to purchase a one-ton 4x4 truck with accessories (i.e., Sander,plow) fortheHighway Department, andtoauthorize the withdrawalof $15,000 from the Capital Reserve Fund for Highway Department Equipment to offsetsaidappropriation. ARTICLE 17. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $2,000 (two thousand dollars) to update the Town's MasterPlan, and to authorize the Croydon Planning Board to contract, for three (3) years with the Upper Valley/Lake Sunapee Council for said purpose, total cost of the update to be no morethan$6,000 (six thousanddollars). ARTICLE 18. To see if the Town will vote to accept a sum of money (approximately $5,0(X) (five thousand dollars)), for refurbishing the Town Hall. Specifically topurchase a stove, refrigerator, updateplumbing, paintand supplies, make bathrooms handicap accessible, purchase curtain material, and kitchen accessories.
