Neal, Jr. After spending his working career as a full time firefighter for the City of Everett, Charlie "retired" to live in the Town of Middleton where he immediately became deeply involved with the children of Middlelon and town government. He served on the Recreation Commission for ten years, eight as Chairman, and on the Finance Committee and drove a school bussince his retirement. Charlie wasnot shy in his advocacy for the children ofMiddleton. His leadership helped convince the Townto build several badly needed athletic fields including the beautiful new parkand soccer field behind Memorial Hall, the basketball court and improved fields at Howe-Manning Park and the lighted softball field at the landfill. He was always there to provide a voice for the recreational needs of Middleton. We will truly miss his unselfish devotion to the children of Middleton. -1- MEMORIAM Rosemary Malone, Assistant Director Flint Public Library Norma Nathan Lx>ng Time Communily Activist, Former Finance Committee Member and Widely Known and Esteemed Columnist for the Boston Herald, "The Eye" -2- TOWN OFFICIALS Elected - 1991 MODERATOR PLANNING BOARD Norman Nathan 1992 J.
