Town of Canaan To the inhabitants of the Town of Canaan, New Hampshire, who are qualified to vote in Town affairs. You are hereby notified that the annual town meeting of the Town of Canaan, New Hampshire, will be held at the Canaan Fire Station on Tuesday, March 12, 1991, at 10:00 A. M. to act upon the following articles: ARTICLE 1: To vote by non partisan ballot for the following Town Officers: A Selectman for a term of three years A Treasurer for a term of one year A General Assist. Officer for a term of one year A Road Agent for a term of one year A Town Clerk for a term of three years A Tax Collector for a term of three years Two Planning Board members for a term of three years A Planning Board member for a term of two years A Library Trustee for a term of three years A Trustee of the Trust Funds for a term of three years Three members of the Budget Committee for a term of three years A member of the Budget Committee for a term of two years A member of the Budget Committee for a term of one year Any other Town Officer that is required by law. Polls will be opened for voting by ballot for the Election of Town Officers at the Canaan Fire Station on Tuesday, March 12, 1991, at 10:00 A.M. and will close at 7:00 P.M. unless the Town votes to keep the polls open to a later hour. At the close of the polls, the meeting will be adjourned until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 16, 1991, at the Canaan Elementary School at which time the following business will be transacted.
