For 2004,wededicatetheAnnualReporttofourindividualswhorepresenttheverybestofBow andtouchedthe lives ofmany. Theirpassings remindus all how special ourtime together shouldbe, andthatweshouldcherisheveryday and, likethem, giveofourselvestoothers. Eleanor R. Still 1993 - 2004 Eleanor Still gave selflessly ofherself, working quietly to make the lives ofthe less fortunate a little brighter. Eleanor founded and for thirty years directed the "Friends of Forgotten Children" program, a non-profit organization that provides children ofall ages with toys andclothing to ensure a happy Christmas and also provides food baskets to the needy atthe holidays as well as yearround. For her selfless work in the community, Eleanor was honored with the Paul Harris FellowshipAwardfromtheBowRotaryClubin 1989,theGreaterConcordInterfaithCouncil Community ServiceAward in 1991 and was chosen as Bow's Citizen oftheYearin 1996, along withotherawards forherworkinthecommunity. Never one to seek attention forherself, the only reward Eleanor wanted was to see a child smile. She had aheartofgoldandwill be missedby all. DEDICATION Inonetragic accident, threeofourcitizens were lostinahighway collision, including two ofour sixth grade students. Thejoys oftoday and the hope oftomorrow seemed to crash as ouryoung people grappled withunderstanding the fragility oflife. Katherine Hinck Alyson Hinck 1963 - 2004 1992 - 2004 Katharine (Katie) Hinckwas afriendto all. Katie was a "soccermom" whomade all the games and supportedherkids during wins andlosses. She was the firstto lend ahand along with a warm smile and kind word, always putting the feelings ofothers before her own. She was atrue friend, regardless ofwhetheryouhadknownherforyears orhadjust met. Alyson (Ally) Hinck made everyone laugh and want to be her friend. Ally danced through life, showing us how to make every day special. Herpassing reminds us to hold close those we love and cherish the time we have together. DEDICATION Emily Hill 1993 - 2004 Emily Hill was a sixth grader at Bow Middle School, with an infectious smile and strong competitive streak. An athlete,jokester, dreamerandrare companion, Emily made fast friends quickly and brightened the day for anyone fortunate enough to meet her. She was the embodiment ofyouthful energy andpromise forthe future.
