JACKSON SCHOOL DISTRICT WARRANT STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE TotheInhabitantsoftheSchoolDistrictofJackson, inthe CountyofCarroll, State of New Hampshire, qualified to vote on District affairs: You are herebynotified to meetat theTown Hallinsaid District onTuesday, March 1, 1994, at 7:00 in the evening to act upon the following subjects: ARTICLE 1. To see if the District will vote to accept the provisions of RSA 198:20-bprovidingthatanyschooldistrictatanannualmeetingmayadoptanarticle authorizingindefinitely, untilspecificrescissionofsuchauthority, theSchoolBoard to apply for, accept, and expend, without further action by the School District, money from a state, federal, or other government unit or a private source which becomes available during the fiscal year. (Recommended by the School Board) ARTICLE 2. Toseeifthe SchoolDistrictwillvotetoraiseandappropriateup tofiftythousanddollars ($50,000.00) topurchaseanewschoolbus; andtoauthorize thewithdrawalofup tofiftythousanddollars ($50,000.00) fromthe CapitalReserve Fund (SchoolBuses), createdforthatpurpose, andtoauthorizetheTrusteesofthe Capital Reserve Fund (School Buses) to withdraw said monies, and topay the same over to the School District Treasurer on 1 July 1994. (Majority Vote Required) (Recommended by the School Board) ARTICLE3. ToseeiftheSchoolDistrictwillvotetoraiseandappropriatethe sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) to be placed in the Capital Reserve Fund (School Buses), previously established for this purpose, and authorize the use/transferin thatamountfrom the June 30, 1994, fundbalanceforthis purpose. (Recommended by the School Board) ARTICLE4. ToseeiftheSchoolDistrictwillvotetoraiseandappropriatethe sum offive thousand dollars ($5,000.00) tobeplaced in the Reserve Fund (Special Education) previouslyestablishedforthispurpose, andauthorizetheuse/transfer , in that amount from the June 30, 1994, fund balance for this purpose. (Recommended by the School Board) ARTICLE5. ToseeiftheSchoolDistrictwillvotetoraiseandappropriatethe sumofup to twentythousand dollars ($20,000.00) tobeplacedinthe Reserve Fund (Tuition Trust Fund), previously established for this purpose, and authorize the use/transferin thatamountfromthe June 30, 1994, fund balancefor this purpose. (Recommended by the School Board) ARTICLE6. ToseeiftheSchoolDistrictwillvotetoraiseandappropriateup to five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) to be placed in the Reserve Fund (Technology Trust Fund), previously established for this purpose, and authorize the use/transferin thatamountfromthe June 30, 1994, fund balance for this purpose. (Recommended by the School Board) -2- ARTICLE 7. To see ifthe District will vote to authorize the establishment of a Technology Coordinator's position by School Administrative Unit #9 pursuant to RSA 189:43 and RSA 189:47. (Recommended by the School Board) ARTICLE 6. To see what sum of money the School District will vote to raise and appropriate for the support of schools, for the payment of salaries for school districtofficialsand agents, andforthepayment ofthe statutory obligations ofthe District. (Recommended by the School Board) ARTICLE 7. Totransactanyotherbusiness thatmaylegallycomebeforethis meeting. You are hereby notified to meet at the Town Hall in said District on Tuesday, 8 March 1994, to elect the following School District Officers. The polls will be open for this purpose at 9:00 a.m. and will not close before 2:00 p.m. ARTICLE 1. To elect a Moderator for the ensuing year. ARTICLE 2. To elect a Clerk for the ensuing year. ARTICLE 3. To elect a member of the School Board for the ensuing three years ARTICLE 4. To elect a Treasurer for the ensuing year. ARTICLE 5. To elect an Auditor for the ensuing year.
