Moreover, it provides some biological information on a female specimen of this rare and near threatened shark, caught during experimental sampling in the Myrtoon Sea, southwestern Aegean archipelago, Greece. The aim of this study is to provide a synopsis of the existing information on the species in the Mediterranean Sea for future updates of the assessments of the species conservation status in this area.
