Superannuation ) (A mendment ) Ordinance , 2022 (A .P. Ordinance
No. 1 of 2022 ) published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette Part - IV -B

ORDER :
In the Ordinance published in reference read above , an Ordinance
namely , Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (R egulation of Age of
Superannuation ) (A mendment ) Ordinance , 2022 (A .P. Ordinance No. 1 of 2022 )
has been issued . According to the aforementioned Ordinance , the following
amendments have been issued to the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment
(R egulation of Age of Superannuation ) Act , 1984 :
"1 . (i ) This Ordinance may be called the Andhra Pradesh Public
Employment (R egulation of Age of Superannuation ) (A mendment )
Ordinance , 2022 .
(2 ) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st January
2022 .
2. In the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (R egulation of Age of
Superannuation ) Act , 1984 , (h ereinafter referred to as the Principal Act ),
in section 3,
(1 ) in sub -s ection (1 ) , for the words "s ixty years the words "s ixty two
years 's hall be substituted ,
(2 ) in sub section (2 ) , for the words "s ixty years , the words "s ixty two

years shall be substituted .
(3 ) in sub section (3 ) ,
(a ) for the words "s ixty years , the words 's ixty two years shall be
substituted .
(b ) in Explanation -I I, for words "s ixty years , the words "s ixty two
years 's hall be substituted .
(4 ) in sub section (4 ) ,
(a ) in clause (a ) , for the words "s ixty years , the words "s ixty two
years ' shall be substituted .
(b ) in clause (b ) , for the words "s ixty years , the words "s ixty two
years shall be substituted .
3. In the Principal Act , in section 3A , in sub -s ection (2 ) ,
(P .T.O )
(2 ) for the words “s ixty years wherever it occurs , the words “s ixty two
