ELECTIONS - RESERVATIONS TO CHAIRPERSONS OF ZILLA
PRAJA PARISHADS TO THE CATEGORIES OF SCHEDULED
TRIBES , SCHEDULED CASTES, BACKWARD CLASSES , WOMEN
Letter No. 1068155/CPR&RD/Elecs/2019,- The Commissioner Panchayat
Raj had made reservations to Chairpersons of Zilla Praja Parishads to the
categories of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, Women
for the 5th Ordinary Elections and the same has been notified vide Gazette No. 876
dated : 03.01.2020.
After careful examination, it is noticed that an error has crept in the
population figures in Vizianagaram District. Therefore the following Corrigendum
is issued.
1. In G.876 dt.03.01.2020, in the Annexure at Serial No.3 VIZIANAGARAM
shall be read as “ UR in place of SC (W)”.
2. In G.876 dt.03.01.2020, in the Annexure at Serial No.8 SRIKAKULAM
shall be read as “ SC (W) in place of UR.”
