PROMOTION AND POSTING OF DEPUTY DIRECTOR TO THE CATEGORY OF
JOINT DIRECTOR.

NOTIFICATION
Under Rule 10 of General Rules for Andhra Pradesh State and
Subordinate Services, 1996 and as per the special rules of Andhra
Pradesh Information Service Rules, Smt. Kasturi Bai Tella,
Deputy Director is hereby promoted temporarily as Joint Director from
the date of her taking charge.
Consequent of her promotion, Smt. Kasturi Bai Tella, Deputy Director is
posted as Joint Director, Commissonerate, Information & Public Relations Department,
A.P., Vijayawada in the existing vacancy.
The appointment by promotion ordered in para (2) above is subject to outcome
of Court cases pending in the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, High Court of
Andhra Pradesh and Supreme Court of India, if any. She Should join in the promotion
post within the stipulated time of 15 (fifteen) days from the date of receipt of the
order of appointment and promotion as specified in rule 11 (b) of A.P. State and
Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, failing which she would forfeit the right of promotion
to the cadre of Joint Director.
The Commissioner, Information & Public Relations, A.P., Vijayawada shall
take necessary action in the matter accordingly and intimate the date of joining of the
above individual to the Government for information and record.
