AMENDMENTS TO THE ANDHRA PRADESH EXCISE (GRANT OF LICENSE TO SELL
TODDY,CONDITIONS OFLICENSEANDTAPPINGOFEXCISETREES)RULES,2007.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 72 read with Sections 13,15,17, 18,
21, 22, 23, 26, 28 and 29 of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968 (Andhra Pradesh Act 17
of 1968), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the
Andhra Pradesh Excise (Grant of License to Sell Toddy, Conditions of License and Tapping
of Excise Trees) Rules, 2007 issued in G.O.Ms.No.1228, Rev (Ex-II) Dept., Dt:09-09-2007
and published in Andhra Pradesh Gazette in Rules Supplement to part II, Extraordinary No.7,
Dated the 20thSeptember,2007 and amended as subsequently from time to time:
AMENDMENTS
In the said rules :
1. In rule 3, in sub-rule(2),
For the expression “50 KMs” the expression “100 KMs” shall be substituted.
2. In rule 5, the sub-rule(3) shall be omitted.
3. In rule 15, for the words “weights and Measures Department” the words “Department
of Legal Metrology” shall be substituted.
4. In rule 27, in sub rule (1), for the words “Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954”,
the words “Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006” shall be substituted.
5. The rule 31, shall be omitted.
6. The rule 32, shall be omitted.
