ASPL-OSEP-2013 HELPS

The preparation of the On Site Emergency Plan not only the Statutory Requirements
but it is an tool to deal with emergency in the field of Occupational Health and
Safety System programmes. The planning process may bring to light gaps such as
the lack of resources (equipment, trained personnel, and suppliers) or articles /
items that can be rectified prior to emergency strikes. In addition, it will promote
safety awareness amongst the operatives, supervisors and workers. Further, it will
indicate the commitment by organisation towards safety of plant, workers and in
vicinity of the Unit area.

It is noted that this “On-Site Emergency Plan” is prepared based on the information,
details, data as provided by the management and as observed during our visit.
Further, this document is developed by qualified, experienced & competent persons
and follows provisions under Schedule 8-A of Rule 68-J of The Gujarat Factories
Rules 1963(2004) along with guide lines issued by Director, Industrial Safety &
Health (CIF), Gujarat State and norms, codes, standards as issued by State or
Nation, time to time. However, this document is not deemed to be any warranty,
undertaking or certification.
