Greetings! This is my first “Quarterly” as editor and as with most new editors, a time for some changes. For manyyears our “Quarterly” has been a semi-annual publication and as you will see from the new coverwe are finally giving itaname that more accurately reflects this. Startingwith this issue our “Quarterly”willbecomeTheAlumnaeRecord. Itwillbepublishedtwiceyearlyin November and inJune and will still include all ofthe news items and feature articles thatyousendin. Linda Lass:-^Schuhmacher (1967) HOMECOMING ’85 Hurricane Gloria hit New England Friday but that did not deter 186 alumnae from near and far from gathering Saturday morning at the Howard Johnson “57” for the annual business meeting, program and luncheon. The Association honored the reunion classes and some special people at the luncheon with small gifts: MGH Class of 1925 - pens MGH Qass of 1935 - scarves Qass of i960 - carnation corsages Qass of 1975 - carnation corsages Qass of 1924 - Cross pens Esther GoffBecker (1914) - corsage & scarf MGH Ruth Sleeper (1922) - umbrella Jennie Chang Ernst (1950) and Florence Nagao Stanley (1950) were each MGH given an pen for having traveled the greatest distance to attend (from Hawaii). ThethanksoftheAssociationwasextendedtoAnnCahill (1945)andAlice Terry Yancey Conlon (1941) for their years of dedicated service to the organization. Each was presented with an MGH umbrella. 3 Our thanks to all ofyou who made the day a success.
