The four different scenes are used to instantly recall your favorite settings to create the atmosphere fitting with the desired use of the room. The backlight intensity is automatically regulated by its embedded sensor depending on the room ambient luminosity, which will provide you with an optimal reading comfort. Figure 1: The Allure RS-Smart-Sense Room Sensor Allure™ RS-Smart-Sense Sensor 5 Introduction Home Screen The Allure RS-Smart-Sense sensor Home screen consists of icons to clearly display information and allow easy access to the different menus and options. All menus are accessed by tapping the corresponding icon on the Allure RS-Smart-Sense sensor screen. Colored icon: enabled or active function Grayed out icon: disabled or inactive icon To return to the Home screen from a selected menu, tap again the corresponding menu icon. Allure™ RS-Smart-Sense Sensor 7 Introduction 8 Allure™ RS-Smart-Sense Sensor M M AIN ENUS This section explains the Allure RS-Smart Sense main menus: Fan Speed, Lighting, Sunblinds, and Setpoints. Some of the menu icons shown below might not be available depending on the building manager’s preferences. In such a case, contact your building manager for more information. Fan Speed The Fan Speed menu is used to control the fan speed settings. 1. Tap the Fan Speed icon . The Fan Speed menu is displayed: Fan off Fan speed 1 Fan speed 2 Fan speed 3 Fan auto Current fan setting Figure 3: The Fan Speed Menu Screen 2. Set the fan to the desired speed: Off, 1, 2, or 3 or to the automatic setting (Auto) which adjusts the fan speed according to the gap between ambient and desired temperature. 3. Return to the Home Screen. The selected settings are saved until the next modification. Allure™ RS-Smart-Sense Sensor 9 Main Menus Lighting The Lighting menu is used to control the lights (on/off, dimming) and the available lighting groups (up to 8 groups). 1. Tap the Lighting icon . The Lighting menu is displayed: Lighting groups Light up Light down Scrolling arrow to access the other lighting groups (available lighting groups depend on the building settings) Figure 4: The Lighting Menu Screen 2. Tap the icon(s) of the lighting group(s) that you wish to set. You can select as many groups as you want simultaneously. Selected light groups are shown colored while inactive ones are grayed out. 3. Tap the Light Up/Down arrows to switch the lights on or off. 4. If you are using a dimmer, tap and hold the Light Up/Down arrows to gradually increase/decrease the luminosity. Tap again the Light Up/Down arrows to stop the dimming action when it has reached the desired luminosity; if not, the dimming action will continue until maximum lighting or until completely turned off. 5. After a few seconds, the Home Screen is displayed. The selected settings are saved until the next modification. 10 Allure™ RS-Smart-Sense Sensor
