ٌ َّ ّ َ َ َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ ُ ٰ
1 ﺎﻬﻋﻮﻛر 5 ﺔﻴﻜِ ﻣ ﺔِ (cid:479)(cid:484)ِ ﺎﻔ ﻟا ۃر ﻮﺳ 1 7 ﺎﻬﺗﺎﻳا

ٰ
ۡ َّ ٰ ۡ َّ ّ ۡ
ﻢِ (cid:541)ﺣِ ﺮ(cid:472)ا ﻦِ ﻤ ﺣﺮ(cid:472)ا ﻪِ ﻠﻟا ﻢِ ﺴِ(cid:575)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

1. All the praises and thanks be to َ ۡ َ ٰ ۡ ّ َ ّٰ ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ
Allah, the Lord of the Alameen ﴾۱ۙ ﴿ (cid:450) (cid:456) ﻤِ ﻠ ﻌﻟا بِ ر ﻪِ ﻠِﻟ ﺪﻤ (cid:479)(cid:497)ا
(mankind, jinns and all that exists).

2. The Most Beneficent, the Most
ۡ َّ ٰ ۡ َّ
Merciful. ﴾۲ۙ ﴿ ﻢ (cid:541)ﺣِ ﺮ(cid:472)ا ﻦﻤﺣﺮ(cid:472)ا
ِ ِ

3. The Only Owner (and the Only
ۡ ّ ۡ َ ٰ
Ruling Judge) of the Day of ﴾ؕ۳﴿ ﻦ ِ ﻳﺪِ ﻟا مِ ﻮﻳ ﻚِ ِﻠ ﻣ
Recompense (i.e. the Day of
Resurrection)

4. You (Alone) we worship, and You ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ َّ َ ُ ُ ۡ َ َ َّ
(Alone) we ask for help (for each and ﴾ؕ۴﴿ (cid:450) (cid:456)ﻌِ ﺘﺴ(cid:578) کﺎ ﻳاِ و ﺪﺒﻌﻧ کﺎ ﻳاِ
everything).

5. Guide us to the Straight Way َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ َ ّ َ ۡ
﴾۵ۙ ﴿ ﻢ (cid:541)ﻘِ ﺘ ﺴﻤ ﻟا طاﺮ(cid:465)ِ ﻟا ﺎﻧﺪِ ﻫ اِ

6. The Way of those on whom You ۡ َ ۡ ۡ َ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ َّ َ َ
have bestowed Your Grace, Not (the ﺮِ (cid:456) ﻏ (cid:31)(cid:386) ﻢِ (cid:544)ﻴ ﻠﻋ ﺖ ﻤﻌﻧا ﻦ ﻳﺬِ ﻟا طاﺮ(cid:463)ِ
way) of those who earned Your
Anger (such as the Jews), nor of َ ۡ ّ َّ َ َ ۡ ۡ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ۡ
those who went astray (such as the ﴾۷٪ ﴿ (cid:450) (cid:456)ِﻟﺂﻀﻟا (cid:176)ﻟ و ﻢِ (cid:544)ﻴ ﻠﻋ بِ ﻮﻀ ﻐﻤ ﻟا 1
Christians). 7

2 ۃﺮﻘﺒﻟا 2 1 ﻢﻟا

40 ﺎﻬﺗﺎﻋﻮﻛر 87 ﺔٌ ﻴَّ ِﻧﺪَ ﻣَ ۃِ ﺮَ ﻘَ ﺒَ ۡ ﻟا ۃُ رَ ﻮۡ ﺳُ 2 286 ﺎﻬﺗﺎﻳاٰ

ٰ
ۡ َّ ٰ ۡ َّ ّ ۡ
ﻢِ (cid:541)ﺣِ ﺮ(cid:472)ا ﻦِ ﻤ ﺣﺮ(cid:472)ا ﻪِ ﻠﻟا ﻢِ ﺴِ(cid:575)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

1. Alif-Lam-Meem. (These letters are ٓ
ٓ
ّ
one of the miracles of the Quran and ﴾ۚ۱﴿ ﻢـ ﻟا
none but Allah (Alone) knows their
meanings).
2. This is the Book (the Quran), ً ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ ُ ٰ ۡ َ ٰ
whereof there is no doubt, a guidance یﺪ ﻫ (cid:302)(cid:31) ﻪِ ﻴﻓِ (cid:31)(cid:31)(cid:367) ﺐ ﻳر (cid:176) ﻟ ﺐ ﺘﻜِ ﻟا ﻚِﻟ ذ
to those who are Al-Muttaqoon (the
pious and righteous persons who fear َ ۡ َّ ُ ۡ ّ
Allah much (abstain from all kinds of ﴾۲ۙ ﴿ (cid:450) (cid:456)ﻘِ ﺘﻤﻠِﻟ
sins and evil deeds which He has
forbidden) and love Allah much
(perform all kinds of good deeds
which He has ordained)).

3. Who believe in the Ghaib and َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َّ
perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), ن ﻮﻤ ﻴ ﻘِ ﻳ و ﺐِ ﻴﻐﻟﺎِﺑ ن ﻮ(cid:586)ﻣِ ﺆ ﻳ ﻦ ﻳﺬِ ﻟا
and spend out of what we have
provided for them (i.e. give Zakat , َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ٰ ۡ َ َ َّ َ َ ٰ َّ
spend on themselves, their parents, ﴾۳ۙ ﴿ ن ﻮﻘﻔِ ﻨ ﻳ ﻢ(cid:544) ﻨﻗزر ﺎﻤ(cid:557)ِ و ۃﻮ ﻠﺼﻟا
their children, their wives, etc., and
also give charity to the poor and also
in Allahs Cause - Jihad, etc.).

4. And who believe in (the Quran and َ ۡ ُ ۤ َ َ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ ُ ۤ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َّ َ
the Sunnah) which has been sent لﺰِ ﻧ ا ﺎ ﻣ و ﻚ ﻴﻟاِ لﺰِ ﻧ ا ﺎﻤِﺑ ن ﻮ(cid:586)ﻣِ ﺆ ﻳ ﻦﻳ ﺬِ ﻟا و
down (revealed) to you (Muhammad
Peace be upon him) and in (the َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ ٰ ۡ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ
Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel ﴾ؕ۴﴿ ن ﻮﻨﻗِ ﻮ ﻳ ﻢ (cid:543) ۃِ ﺮﺧِ (cid:176) ﻟﺎِﺑ و (cid:277) ﻚِﻠﺒﻗ ﻦﻣِ
(Gospel), etc.) which were sent down
before you and they believe with
certainty in the Hereafter.
(Resurrection, recompense of their
good and bad deeds, Paradise and
Hell, etc.).

5. They are on (true) guidance from ُ ُ َ (cid:237) ُ َ ۡ ّ َّ ۡ ّ ً ُ ٰ َ َ (cid:237) ُ
their Lord, and they are the successful. ﻢ(cid:543) ﻚ(cid:394)ِ ﻟوا و (cid:275) ﻢِ(cid:544)ِﺑر ﻦﻣِ یﺪ ﻫ ﻲ (cid:439)ﻋ ﻚ(cid:394)ِ ﻟو ا

2 ۃﺮﻘﺒﻟا 3 1 ﻢﻟا

َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ
﴾۵﴿ نﻮ(cid:499)(cid:508)ِ ﻔﻤﻟا
6. Verily, those who disbelieve, it is ۡ َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ ۡ َ َ ٌ َ َ ۡ ُ َ َ َ ۡ َّ َّ
the same to them whether you (O ما ﻢ(cid:544)ﺗرﺬﻧاء ﻢِ(cid:544)ﻴﻠﻋ ءآﻮﺳ اوﺮ(cid:469)ﻛ ﻦﻳﺬِ ﻟا ناِ
Muhammad Peace be upon him)
warn them or do not warn them, they َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ۡ ُ ۡ َ
will not believe. ﴾۶﴿ نﻮ(cid:586)ﻣِ ﺆﻳ (cid:176)ﻟ ﻢ(cid:543)رﺬِ ﻨﺗ ﻢﻟ

7. Allah has set a seal on their hearts ٰٓ َ َ ۡ ۡ َ ٰ َ َ ۡ ۡ ُ ُ ٰ َ ُ ّٰ َ َ َ
and on their hearings, (i.e. they are ﻲ(cid:439)ﻋ و (cid:276) ﻢِ(cid:544)ﻌِ ﻤﺳ ﻲ(cid:439)ﻋ و ﻢِ(cid:544)ِﺑﻮﻠﻗ ﻲ(cid:439)ﻋ ﻪﻠﻟا ﻢ(cid:538)ﺧ
closed from accepting Allahs
Guidance), and on their eyes there is ٌ ۡ َ ٌ َ َ ۡ ُ َ َّ ٌ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ
a covering. Theirs will be a great ﴾۷٪ ﴿ ﻢ(cid:541)ﻈِ ﻋ باﺬﻋ ﻢ(cid:544)ﻟ و (cid:282) ۃوﺎﺸﻏِ ﻢِ(cid:543)رِ ﺎﺼﺑا 1
torment. 7

8. And of mankind, there are some َ ّٰ َّ َ ٰ ُ ۡ ُ َّ ۡ َ َّ َ َ
(hypocrites) who say: "We believe in و ﻪِ ﻠﻟﺎِﺑ ﺎﻨﻣا لﻮﻘﻳ ﻦﻣ سِ ﺎﻨﻟا ﻦﻣِ و
Allah and the Last Day" while in fact
they believe not. َ ۡ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ َ ٰ ۡ ۡ َ ۡ
﴾ۘ۸﴿ (cid:450)(cid:456)ﻨِ ﻣِ ﺆﻤِﺑ ﻢ(cid:543) ﺎﻣ و ﺮِ ﺧِ (cid:176)ﻟا مِ ﻮﻴﻟﺎِﺑ

9. They (think to) deceive Allah and َ َ ۡ ُ َ ٰ َ ۡ َّ َ َ ّٰ َ ۡ ُ ٰ ُ
those who believe, while they only ﺎﻣ و (cid:277) اﻮ(cid:586)ﻣا ﻦﻳﺬِ ﻟا و ﻪﻠﻟا نﻮﻋﺪِ (cid:481)(cid:487)
deceive themselves, and perceive (it)
not! َ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ َ َ َ ۡ ُ َ ُ ۡ َ ۤ َّ َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ
﴾ؕ۹﴿ نوﺮ(cid:476)ﺸ(cid:579) ﺎﻣ و ﻢ(cid:544)ﺴﻔﻧا (cid:176)ﻟاِ نﻮﻋﺪ(cid:481)(cid:487)

10. In their hearts is a disease (of ۡ ُ َ َ ً َ َ ُ ّٰ ُ ُ َ َ َ ٌ َ َّ ۡ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ
doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has ﻢ(cid:544)ﻟ و (cid:277) ﺎﺿﺮ(cid:478) ﻪﻠﻟا ﻢ(cid:543)داﺰﻓ (cid:280) ضﺮ(cid:478) ﻢِ(cid:544)ِﺑﻮﻠﻗ ﻲِ(cid:414)
increased their disease. A painful
torment is theirs because they used to َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ۡ ُ َ َ ٌۢ ۡ َ ٌ َ َ
tell lies. ﴾۱۰﴿ نﻮﺑﺬِ ﻜﻳ اﻮﻧﺎﻛ ﺎﻤِﺑ (cid:340)(cid:31) ﻢ(cid:541)ِﻟا باﺬﻋ

11. And when it is said to them: ۤۡ ُ َ ۡ َ ۡ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ ۡ ُ َ َ ۡ َ َ
"Make not mischief on the earth, ا ﻮﻟﺎﻗ (cid:280) ضِ ر(cid:176) ﻟا ﻲِ(cid:414) ا وﺪﺴِ ﻔﺗ (cid:176) ﻟ ﻢ (cid:544)ﻟ ﻞ ﻴﻗِ اذاِ و
"they say: "We are only
peacemakers." َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ َ َ َّ
﴾۱۱﴿ ن ﻮ(cid:499)(cid:508)ِ ﺼﻣ ﻦ(cid:479)(cid:486) ﺎﻤﻧاِ

12. Verily! They are the ones who َ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ َ َّ ۡ ٰ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ ُ َّ ۤ َ َ
make mischief, but they perceive not. ﴾۱۲﴿ ن وﺮ(cid:476)ﺸ(cid:579) (cid:176) ﻟ ﻦﻜِ ﻟ و ن وﺪﺴِ ﻔﻤﻟا ﻢ (cid:543) ﻢ(cid:544) ﻧاِ (cid:176) ﻟا

13. And when it is said to them ُ َّ َ َ ٰ ۤ َ َ ۡ ُ ٰ ۡ ُ َ َ ۡ َ َ
(hypocrites): "Believe as the people سﺎﻨﻟا ﻦﻣا ﺎﻤﻛ ا ﻮ(cid:586)ﻣِ ا ﻢ (cid:544)ﻟ ﻞ ﻴﻗِ اذاِ و
(followers of Muhammad Peace be
upon him, Al-Ansar and Al- ُ ُ ۡ ُ َّ ۤ َ َ ُ َ َ ُّ َ َ ٰ ۤ َ َ ُ ۡ ُ َ ۤۡ ُ َ
Muhajiroon) have believed," they ﻢ(cid:543) ﻢ (cid:544)ﻧاِ (cid:176) ﻟا (cid:276) ءﺂ ﻬﻔﺴﻟا ﻦﻣ ا ﺎﻤﻛ ﻦﻣِ ﺆﻧا ا ﻮﻟﺎﻗ

ّٓ
2 ۃﺮﻘﺒﻟا 4 1 ﻢﻟا

say: "Shall we believe as the fools
have believed?" Verily, they are the َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ َّ ۡ ٰ َ ُ َ َ ُّ
﴾۱۳﴿ ن ﻮﻤﻠﻌ ﻳ (cid:176) ﻟ ﻦ ﻜِ ﻟ و ءﺂ ﻬﻔﺴﻟا
fools, but they know not.
14. And when they meet those who َ َ َّ َ ٰ ۤۡ ُ َ ۡ ُ َ ٰ َ ۡ َّ ُ َ َ َ
believe, they say: "We believe," but اذاِ و (cid:277) ﺎﻨﻣا ا ﻮﻟﺎﻗ ا ﻮ(cid:586)ﻣ ا ﻦ ﻳﺬِ ﻟا اﻮﻘﻟ اذ اِ و
when they are alone with their
Shayatin (devils - polytheists, َ َّ ۡ ُ َ َ َّ ۤۡ ُ َ ۡ ۡ ٰ َ ٰ ۡ َ َ
hypocrites, etc.), they say: "Truly, we ﺎﻤﻧاِ (cid:280) ﻢ ﻜﻌﻣ ﺎﻧاِ ا ﻮﻟﺎﻗ (cid:280) ﻢِ (cid:544)ﻨِ ﻴﻄِ ﻴﺷ ﻲ (cid:438)اِ ا ﻮﻠﺧ
are with you; verily, we were but
َ
mocking." َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ
﴾۱۴﴿ ن و ء ﺰ ﻬﺘﺴﻣ ﻦ(cid:479)(cid:486)
ِ

15. Allah mocks at them and gives ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ۡ ُ ُّ ُ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ ُ ّٰ َ
them increase in their wrong-doings ﻢِ (cid:544)ِ ﻧﺎ ﻴﻐﻃ ﻲِ(cid:414) ﻢ (cid:543)ﺪﻤ ﻳ و ﻢِ (cid:544)ِﺑ ئﺰِ ﻬﺘﺴ (cid:579) ﻪﻠﻟ ا
to wander blindly.
َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ
﴾۱۵﴿ ن ﻮ ﻬﻤﻌ ﻳ

16. These are they who have ٰ ُ ۡ َ َ ٰ َّ ُ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َّ َ (cid:237) ُ
purchased error for guidance, so their (cid:281) ی ﺪ ﻬ ﻟﺎِﺑ ﺔﻠ ﻠﻀﻟا ا و ﺮ(cid:453)ﺷا ﻦ ﻳﺬِ ﻟا ﻚ(cid:394)ِ ﻟو ا
commerce was profitless. And they
were not guided. َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ َ َ ۡ ُ ُ َ َ ّ ۡ َ َ َ َ
﴾۱۶﴿ ﻦﻳ ﺪِ ﺘ ﻬﻣ ا ﻮﻧﺎﻛ ﺎﻣ و ﻢ (cid:544)ﺗرﺎﺠ(cid:484)ِ ﺖ(cid:479)ﺑِ ر ﺎﻤ(cid:555)

17. Their likeness is as the likeness of ۤ َّ َ َ ً َ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َّ َ َ َ ۡ ُ ُ َ َ
one who kindled a fire; then, when it ﺎﻤﻠﻓ (cid:277) ا رﺎﻧ ﺪﻗﻮﺘﺳا یﺬِ ﻟا ﻞﺜﻤﻛ ﻢ (cid:544)ﻠﺜ ﻣ
ِ
lighted all around him, Allah took
away their light and left them in ۡ ُ َ َ َ َ ۡ ۡ ُ ُ ّٰ َ َ َ ٗ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ َ َ َ
darkness. (So) they could not see. ﻢ(cid:544) ﻛﺮﺗ و ﻢِ (cid:543)رِ ﻮﻨِﺑ ﻪﻠﻟا ﺐ ﻫذ ﻪﻟﻮﺣ ﺎﻣ ت ءﺂﺿا
َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َّ ٰ ُ ُ ۡ
﴾۱۷﴿ ن وﺮ(cid:465)ِ ﺒ ﻳ (cid:176) ﻟ ﺖٍ ﻤﻠﻇ ﻲِ(cid:414)

18. They are deaf, dumb, and blind, َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ َ ۡ ُ َ ٌ ۡ ُ ٌ ۡ ُ ٌّۢ ُ
so they return not (to the Right Path). ﴾۱ۙ۸ ﴿ نﻮﻌﺟِ ﺮﻳ (cid:176)ﻟ ﻢ(cid:544)ﻓ ﻲ(cid:445)ﻋ ﻢﻜﺑ ﻢﺻ

19. Or like a rainstorm from the sky, َّ ٌ ۡ َ َّ ٌ ٰ ُ ُ ۡ َ َّ َ ّ ّ َ َ ۡ َ
wherein is darkness, thunder, and و ﺪﻋر و ﺖﻤﻠﻇ ﻪِ ﻴﻓِ ءِ ﺂﻤﺴﻟا ﻦﻣِ ﺐٍ ﻴِ ﺼﻛ وا
lightning. They thrust their fingers in
their ears to keep out the stunning َ ّ ۡ َ ٰ ۤۡ ۡ ُ َ َ َ َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ ٌ ۡ َ
thunderclap for fear of death. But ﻦﻣِ ﻢِ(cid:544)ِﻧاذا ﻲِ(cid:414) ﻢ(cid:544)ﻌِﺑﺎﺻا نﻮﻠﻌﺠ(cid:487) (cid:277) قﺮﺑ
Allah ever encompasses the ۢ
disbelievers (i.e. Allah will gather ٌ ۡ ُ ُ ّٰ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ َ َ َّ
ﻂﻴ(cid:479)ِ (cid:498) ﻪﻠﻟا و (cid:276) تِ ﻮﻤﻟا رﺬﺣ ﻖﻋِ اﻮﺼﻟا
them all together). ِ
ٰ
َ ۡ ۡ
﴾۱۹﴿ ﻦﻳِﺮِ(cid:469)ﻜﻟﺎِﺑ

ّٓ
2 ۃﺮﻘﺒﻟا 5 1 ﻢﻟا

20. The lightning almost snatches َ َ َ ۤ َ َّ ُ ۡ ُ َ َ ۡ َ ُ َ ۡ َ ُ ۡ َ ۡ ُ َ َ
away their sight, whenever it flashes ءﺂﺿا ﺎﻤﻠﻛ (cid:276) ﻢ(cid:543)رﺎﺼﺑا ﻒﻄ(cid:481)(cid:487) قﺮﺒﻟا دﺎﻜﻳ
for them, they walk therein, and when
darkness covers them, they stand still. َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ ۡ َ َ َ َ ۡ َ ۤ َ َ ۡ ۡ َ َّ ۡ ُ َ
And if Allah willed, He could have و (cid:276) اﻮﻣﺎﻗ ﻢِ(cid:544)ﻴﻠﻋ ﻢﻠﻇا اذاِ و (cid:348) ﻪِ ﻴﻓِ ا ﻮﺸﻣ ﻢ(cid:544)ﻟ
taken away their hearing and their
sight. Certainly, Allah has power َّ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ ۡ َ َ َ َ َ ُ ّٰ َ َ ۡ َ
over all things. ناِ (cid:276) ﻢِ (cid:543)رِ ﺎﺼﺑا و ﻢِ(cid:544)ﻌِ ﻤﺴِ(cid:575) ﺐﻫﺬﻟ ﻪﻠﻟا ءﺂﺷ ﻮﻟ

ٌ ۡ َ ۡ َ ّ ُ ٰ َ َ ّٰ
﴾۲٪ ۰﴿ ﺮﻳﺪِ ﻗ ءٍ ﻲ(cid:430) ﻞﻛ ﻲ(cid:439)ﻋ ﻪﻠﻟا 13
ِ

21. O mankind! Worship your Lord ۡ َّ ُ ُ َّ َ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ ُ َّ َ ُّ َ ٰٓ
(Allah), Who created you and those یﺬِ ﻟا ﻢﻜﺑر اوﺪﺒﻋا سﺎﻨﻟا ﺎﻬﻳﺎ ﻳ
who were before you so that you may
become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious - ۡ ُ َّ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ َّ َ ۡ ُ َ َ َ
see V.2:2). ﻢﻜﻠﻌﻟ ﻢﻜِﻠﺒﻗ ﻦﻣِ ﻦﻳﺬِ ﻟا و ﻢﻜﻘﻠﺧ
َ ۡ ُ َّ َ
﴾۲ۙ۱ ﴿ نﻮ ﻘﺘﺗ

canopy, and sent down water (rain)
from the sky and brought forth َ َ ۡ َ َ ً َ َ َّ َ َ َ ۡ َ َّ ً َ
therewith fruits as a provision for ﻪٖ ِﺑ جﺮﺧﺎﻓ ءﺂﻣ ءِ ﺂﻤﺴﻟا ﻦﻣِ لﺰﻧا و (cid:281) ءﺂﻨِﺑ
you. Then do not set up rivals unto
Allah (in worship) while you know ّٰ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ َ َ ۡ ُ َّ ً ۡ َٰ َّ َ
ﻪِ ﻠِﻟ اﻮﻠﻌﺠ(cid:484) (cid:176)ﻠﻓ (cid:277) ﻢﻜﻟ ﺎ ﻗزرِ تِ ﺮ(cid:475)ﺜﻟا ﻦﻣِ
(that He Alone has the right to be
worshipped).
َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ َّ ً َ ۡ َ
﴾۲۲﴿ نﻮﻤﻠﻌﺗ ﻢ(cid:538)ﻧا و اداﺪﻧا

23. And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, َ ۡ َ ٰ َ َ ۡ َّ َ َّ ّ ۡ َ ۡ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ َ
and Christians) are in doubt ﺎﻧﺪِ ﺒﻋ ﻲ(cid:439)ﻋ ﺎﻨﻟﺰﻧ ﺎﻤ(cid:557)ِ ﺐٍ ﻳر ﻲِ(cid:414) ﻢ(cid:538)ﻨﻛ ناِ و
concerning that which We have sent
down (i.e. the Quran) to Our slave ۡ ُ َ َ َ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ۡ ّ ۡ ّ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ َ
(Muhammad Peace be upon him), ﻢﻛءآﺪﻬﺷ اﻮﻋدا و (cid:281) ﻪٖ ﻠِ ﺜﻣِ ﻦﻣِ ۃٍ رﻮﺴِ(cid:575) اﻮﺗﺎﻓ
then produce a Soorah (chapter) of
the like thereof and call your َ ۡ ٰ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ ّٰ ۡ ُ ۡ ّ
﴾۲۳﴿ (cid:450)(cid:456)ﻗِ ﺪِ ﺻ ﻢ(cid:538)ﻨﻛ ناِ ﻪِ ﻠﻟا نِ ود ﻦﻣِ
witnesses (supporters and helpers)
besides Allah, if you are truthful.

24. But if you do it not, and you can َ َّ ُ َّ َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ ۡ َّ ۡ َ
never do it, then fear the Fire (Hell) رﺎﻨﻟا اﻮﻘﺗﺎﻓ اﻮﻠﻌﻔﺗ ﻦﻟ و ا ﻮ ﻠﻌﻔﺗ ﻢﻟ نﺎِ ﻓ
whose fuel is men and stones,
prepared for the disbelievers. ۡ َّ ُ ُ َ َ ۡ َ ُ َّ َ ُ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َّ
تﺪ ﻋِ ا (cid:305)(cid:31) ۃرﺎﺠ(cid:479)ِ (cid:497)ا و سﺎﻨﻟا ﺎﻫدﻮﻗو ﻲ(cid:434)ِ ﻟا

ٰ ۡ
َ ۡ
﴾۲۴﴿ ﻦﻳِﺮِ(cid:469)ﻜﻠِﻟ
25. And give glad tidings to those َّ َ ٰ ّٰ ُ َ َ ۡ ُ َ ٰ َ ۡ َّ ّ َ َ
who believe and do righteous good نا ﺖِ (cid:499)(cid:508)ِ ﺼﻟا اﻮﻠﻤِ ﻋ و اﻮ(cid:586)ﻣا ﻦﻳﺬِ ﻟا ﺮِ (cid:462)ِ ﺑ و
deeds, that for them will be Gardens
under which rivers flow (Paradise). َ َّ ُ ُ ٰ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ ۡ ۡ َ ّٰ َ ۡ ُ َ
ﺎﻤﻠﻛ (cid:276) ﺮﻬﻧ(cid:176)ﻟا ﺎﻬﺘِ (cid:479)(cid:484) ﻦﻣِ یﺮﺠ(cid:484) ﺖٍ ﻨﺟ ﻢ(cid:544)ﻟ
Every time they will be provided with ِ
a fruit therefrom, they will say: "This
is what we were provided with َ ٰ ۡ ُ َ ً ۡ ّ َ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ ۡ ُ ُ
اﺬﻫ اﻮﻟﺎﻗ (cid:280) ﺎﻗزرِ ۃٍ ﺮ(cid:475)ﺛ ﻦﻣِ ﺎﻬﻨﻣِ اﻮﻗزِ ر
before," and they will be given things
in resemblance (i.e. in the same form ً َ َ ُ ۡ ُ ُ َ ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َّ
but different in taste) and they shall (cid:276) ﺎﻬِﺑﺎﺸ(cid:584)ﻣ ﻪٖ ِﺑ اﻮﺗا و (cid:280) ﻞﺒﻗ ﻦﻣِ ﺎﻨﻗزِ ر یﺬِ ﻟا
have therein Azwajun Mutahharatun
(purified mates or wives), (having no َ ۡ ۡ ُ َّ ٌ َ َّ َ ُّ ٌ َ ۡ َ ۤ َ ۡ ۡ ُ َ َ
menses, stools, urine, etc.) and they ﺎﻬﻴﻓِ ﻢ(cid:543) و (cid:348) ۃﺮﻬﻄﻣ جاوزا ﺎﻬﻴﻓِ ﻢ(cid:544)ﻟ و
will abide therein forever.
َ ۡ ُ ٰ
﴾۲۵﴿ نوﺪِﻠﺧ

26. Verily, Allah is not ashamed to َّ ً َ َ َ ۡ َّ ۡ َ ۤ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ َ ّٰ َّ
set forth a parable even of a mosquito ﺎﻣ (cid:176)ﻠﺜﻣ بﺮ(cid:466)ﻳ نا ﻲ(cid:405)ﺘﺴ(cid:579) (cid:176)ﻟ ﻪﻠﻟا ناِ
ِ ٖ
or so much more when it is bigger (or
less when it is smaller) than it. And ۡ ُ َ ٰ َ ۡ َّ َّ َ َ َ َ ۡ َ َ َ ً َ ۡ ُ َ
اﻮ(cid:586)ﻣا ﻦﻳﺬِ ﻟا ﺎﻣﺎﻓ (cid:276) ﺎﻬﻗﻮﻓ ﺎﻤ(cid:555) ﺔﺿﻮﻌﺑ
as for those who believe, they know
that it is the Truth from their Lord,
but as for those who disbelieve, they َ ۡ َّ َّ َ َ ۡ ّ َّ ۡ ُّ َ ۡ ُ َّ َ َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ َ
ﻦﻳﺬِ ﻟا ﺎﻣا و (cid:277) ﻢِ(cid:544)ِﺑر ﻦﻣِ ﻖ(cid:479)(cid:497)ا ﻪﻧا نﻮﻤﻠﻌﻴﻓ
say: "What did Allah intend by this
parable?" By it He misleads many, ً َ َ َ ٰ ُ ّٰ َ َ َ ۤ َ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ َ ۡ ُ َ َ
and many He guides thereby. And He (cid:283) (cid:176)ﻠﺜﻣ اﺬﻬﺑ ﻪﻠﻟا دارا اذ ﺎﻣ نﻮﻟﻮﻘﻴﻓ اوﺮ(cid:469)ﻛ
ِ
misleads thereby only those who are
Al-Fasiqoon (the rebellious, َ َ ً ۡ َ ۡ ۡ َ َّ ً ۡ َ ُّ ُ
disobedient to Allah). ﺎﻣ و (cid:276) اﺮ(cid:456)ﺜِ ﻛ ﻪٖ ِﺑ یﺪِ ﻬﻳ و (cid:280) اﺮ(cid:456)ﺜِ ﻛ ﻪٖ ِﺑ ﻞﻀِ ﻳ
ۡ ٰ ۡ َّ ۤ ُّ
َ ُ
﴾۲ۙ۶ ﴿ (cid:450)(cid:456)ﻘِ ﺴِ ﻔﻟا (cid:176)ﻟاِ ﻪٖ ِﺑ ﻞﻀِ ﻳ

27. Those who break Allahs ۡ َ (cid:236) ّٰ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ َ َ ۡ َّ
Covenant after ratifying it, and sever ﺪِ ﻌﺑ ﻦﻣِ ﻪِ ﻠﻟا ﺪﻬﻋ نﻮﻀﻘﻨﻳ ﻦﻳﺬِ ﻟا
what Allah has ordered to be joined
(as regards Allahs Religion of Islamic ۡ َ ۤ ُ ّٰ َ َ َ ۤ َ َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ َ َ ۡ
Monotheism, and to practise its legal نا ﻪٖ ِﺑ ﻪﻠﻟا ﺮ(cid:478)ا ﺎﻣ نﻮﻌﻄﻘﻳ و (cid:281) ﻪٖ ﻗِ ﺎﺜﻴﻣِ
laws on the earth and also as regards
keeping good relations with kith and ُ ُ َ (cid:237) ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ َ َ ۡ ُّ
ﻢ(cid:543) ﻚ(cid:394)ِ ﻟوا (cid:276) ضِ ر(cid:176)ﻟا ﻲِ(cid:414) نوﺪﺴِ ﻔﻳ و ﻞﺻﻮﻳ
kin ), and do mischief on earth, it is
they who are the losers. ۡ
ٰ
َ ۡ ُ
﴾۲۷﴿ نوﺮﺴِ (cid:481)(cid:497)ا

ّٓ
2 ۃﺮﻘﺒﻟا 7 1 ﻢﻟا

28. How can you disbelieve in Allah? ً َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ ّٰ َ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ َ َ ۡ َ
Seeing that you were dead and He ﺎﺗاﻮﻣا ﻢ(cid:538)ﻨﻛ و ﻪِ ﻠﻟﺎِﺑ نوﺮ(cid:469)ﻜﺗ ﻒﻴﻛ
gave you life. Then He will give you
death, then again will bring you to َّ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ ۡ ُ َّ ُ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ ُ َّ ُ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ َ
life (on the Day of Resurrection) and ﻢﺛ ﻢﻜﻴﻴِ (cid:479)(cid:487) ﻢﺛ ﻢﻜﺘﻴﻤِ ﻳ ﻢﺛ (cid:277) ﻢﻛﺎﻴﺣﺎﻓ
then unto Him you will return.
َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ
﴾۲۸﴿ نﻮﻌﺟﺮﺗ ﻪِ ﻴﻟاِ

29. He it is Who created for you all ً ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ َّ ۡ ُ َ َ َ َ ۡ َّ َ ُ
that is on earth. Then He Istawa (rose ﺎﻌﻴﻤِ ﺟ ضِ ر(cid:176)ﻟا ﻲِ(cid:414) ﺎﻣ ﻢﻜﻟ ﻖﻠﺧ یﺬِ ﻟا ﻮﻫ
over) towards the heaven and made
them seven heavens and He is the َ ۡ َ َّ ُ ّٰ َ َ َ َّ َ ٰٓ َ ۡ َّ ُ
All-Knower of everything. (cid:599)ﺒﺳ ﻦﻬ(cid:164)ﻮﺴﻓ ءِ ﺂﻤﺴﻟا ﻲ(cid:438)اِ یﻮﺘﺳا ﻢﺛ (cid:275)
ٌ ۡ َ ۡ َ ّ ُ َ ُ َ ٰ ٰ َ 3
﴾۲٪ ۹﴿ ﻢ(cid:541)ِﻠﻋ ءٍ ﻲ(cid:430) ﻞﻜﺑ ﻮﻫ و (cid:276) تٍ ﻮﻤﺳ 9
ِ ِ

30. And (remember) when your Lord ٌ َ ۡ ّ َ (cid:237) َ ۡ َ ُّ َ َ َ ۡ َ
said to the angels: "Verily, I am ﻲ(cid:414) ﻞﻋِ ﺎﺟ ﻲ (cid:412)اِ ﺔِ ﻜ(cid:394)ﻠﻤﻠِﻟ ﻚﺑر لﺎﻗ ذاِ و
ِ ِ ِ
going to place (mankind) generations
after generations on earth." They ۡ َ َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ َ ۤۡ ُ َ ً َ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ
said: "Will You place therein ﻦﻣ ﺎ ﻬ ﻴﻓِ ﻞﻌﺠ(cid:484)ا ا ﻮﻟﺎﻗ (cid:276) ﺔﻔ ﻴِﻠﺧ ضِ ر(cid:176) ﻟا
those who will make mischief
therein and shed blood, - while we ُ ّ َ ُ ُ ۡ َ َ َ َ ّ ُ ۡ َ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُّ
glorify You with praises and thanks (cid:509)ﺒِ ﺴ(cid:578) ﻦ(cid:479)(cid:486) و (cid:277) ءﺂﻣﺪِ ﻟا ﻚﻔِ ﺴ (cid:579) و ﺎ ﻬ ﻴﻓِ ﺪﺴِ ﻔ ﻳ
(Exalted be You above all that they
associate with You as partners) and َ َ ُ َ ۡ َ ۤۡ ّ َ َ َ َ ُ ّ َ ُ َ َ ۡ َ
sanctify You." He (Allah) said: "I (cid:176)ﻟ ﺎﻣ ﻢﻠﻋ ا ﻲِ (cid:412)اِ لﺎﻗ (cid:276) ﻚ ﻟ سﺪِ ﻘﻧ و کﺪِ ﻤ(cid:479)ﺑِ
know that which you do not know."
َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ
﴾۳۰﴿ نﻮﻤﻠﻌﺗ

3n1am. eAs nd( oHf e evtaeurgyhtht inAg)d, amth eanll tHhee ﻲَ (cid:439)ﻋَ ﻢۡ ُ(cid:544)ﺿَ ﺮَ ﻋَ ﻢَّ ُﺛ ﺎﻬَ َّﻠُﻛ ءَ ﺂﻤَﺳۡ َ(cid:176)ۡﻟا مَ دَ اٰ ﻢَ َّﻠﻋَ وَ
showed them to the angels and said,
"Tell Me the names of these if you ۡ َ ُ ٰٓ َ ۡ َ ۡ ۡ ُٔ (cid:236) َ َ َ َ َ (cid:237) َ ۡ
are truthful." ناِ ءِ ﺂﻟﺆﻫ ءِ ﺂﻤﺳﺎِﺑ ﻲِ(cid:412)ﻮـﺒِ ﻧا لﺎﻘﻓ (cid:280) ﺔِ ﻜ(cid:394)ِ ﻠﻤﻟا
َ ۡ ٰ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ
﴾۳۱﴿ (cid:450) (cid:456)ﻗِ ﺪِ ﺻ ﻢ(cid:538)ﻨﻛ

32. They (angels) said: "Glory be to َ َ ۡ َّ َ َ َّ ۤ َ َ َ ۡ َ َ َ ٰ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ
You, we have no knowledge except (cid:276) ﺎﻨﺘﻤﻠﻋ ﺎﻣ (cid:176)ﻟاِ ﺎﻨﻟ ﻢﻠﻋِ (cid:176)ﻟ ﻚﻨ(cid:499)ﺒﺳ ا ﻮﻟﺎﻗ
what you have taught us. Verily, it is
You, the All-Knower, the All-Wise." ُ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ َّ
﴾۳۲﴿ ﻢ (cid:541)ﻜِ (cid:479)(cid:497)ا ﻢ(cid:541)ِﻠﻌﻟا ﺖﻧا ﻚﻧاِ

ّٓ
2 ۃﺮﻘﺒﻟا 8 1 ﻢﻟا

33. He said: "O Adam! Inform them ۡ ُ َ َ (cid:236) َ ۤ َّ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ (cid:236) َ ُ َ ٰ ٰٓ َ َ
of their names," and when he had ﻢ(cid:543)ﺎﺒﻧا ﺎﻤﻠﻓ (cid:277) ﻢِ(cid:544)ِﰱﺂﻤﺳﺎِﺑ ﻢ(cid:544)ﺌﺒِ ﻧا مد ﺎ ﻳ لﺎﻗ
informed them of their names, He
said: "Did I not tell you that I know ُ َ ۡ َ ۤۡ ّ ۡ ُ َّ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ َ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ
the Ghaib (unseen) in the heavens ﻢﻠﻋا ﻲِ(cid:412)اِ ﻢﻜﻟ ﻞﻗا ﻢﻟا لﺎﻗ (cid:280) ﻢِ (cid:544)ِﰱﺂ ﻤﺳﺎِﺑ
and the earth, and I know what you
reveal and what you have been َ ُ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ ٰ ٰ َّ َ ۡ َ
ﺎﻣ ﻢﻠﻋا و (cid:280) ضر(cid:176)ﻟا و تِ ﻮﻤﺴﻟا ﺐﻴﻏ
concealing?" ِ
َ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ
﴾۳۳﴿ نﻮﻤﺘﻜﺗ ﻢ(cid:538)ﻨﻛ ﺎﻣ و نوﺪﺒﺗ

34. And (remember) when We said to ۤۡ ُ َ َ َ َ َ ٰ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ َ (cid:237) َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ
the angels: "Prostrate yourselves ا وﺪﺠﺴﻓ مد(cid:176)ِﻟ اوﺪﺠ(cid:489)ا ﺔِ ﻜ(cid:394)ﻠﻤﻠِﻟ ﺎﻨﻠﻗ ذاِ و
ِ
before Adam.". And they prostrated
except Iblees (Satan), he refused and َ َ َ َ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ َ ٰ َ َ ۡ ۡ ۤ َّ
was proud and was one of the ﻦﻣِ نﺎﻛ و (cid:350) ﺮﺒﻜﺘﺳا و ﻲﺑا (cid:276) ﺲ(cid:587)ِﻠﺑاِ (cid:176)ﻟاِ
disbelievers (disobedient to Allah).
ٰ
َ ۡ ۡ
﴾۳۴﴿ ﻦﻳِﺮِ(cid:469)ﻜﻟا

35. And We said: "O Adam! Dwell َ َ َّ َ ۡ َ ُ ۡ َ َ َ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ُ َ ٰ ٰٓ َ ۡ ُ َ
you and your wife in the Paradise و ﺔﻨﺠ(cid:497)ا ﻚﺟوز و ﺖﻧا ﻦﻜﺳا م دﺎ ﻳ ﺎﻨﻠﻗ و
and eat both of you freely with
pleasure and delight of things therein َ َ ۡ َ َ َ َ ُ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ً َ َ َ ۡ َ ُ
as wherever you will, but come not ﺎﺑﺮﻘﺗ (cid:176)ﻟ و (cid:281) ﺎﻤ(cid:549)ﺌﺷِ ﺚﻴﺣ اﺪﻏر ﺎﻬﻨﻣِ (cid:176)ﻠﻛ
near this tree or you both will be of
the Zalimoon (wrong-doers)." َ ۡ ّٰ َ َ ۡ ُ َ َ َ َ َ َّ ٰ
﴾۳۵﴿ (cid:450)(cid:456)ﻤِ ِﻠﻈﻟا ﻦﻣِ ﺎﻧﻮﻜﺘﻓ ۃﺮﺠﺸﻟا ھِ ﺬِ ﻫ

3th6e.m T hselinp tthhee rSefhraoimta n (t(hSea tPana)r admisaed)e, ﺎَّﻤ(cid:557)ِ ﺎﻤَ ﻬُ ﺟَ ﺮَ ﺧۡ َﺎَﻓ ﺎﻬَ ﻨۡ ﻋَ ﻦُ ﻄٰ ﻴۡ ﺸَّ ﻟا ﺎ ﻤَ ﻬُ َّﻟزَ َﺎَﻓ
and got them out from that in which
they were. We said: "Get you down, ۡ َ ۡ ُ ُ ۡ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ۡ ُ َ ۡ َ َ
all, with enmity between yourselves. ﺾٍ ﻌﺒِﻟ ﻢﻜﻀﻌﺑ اﻮﻄﺒِ ﻫا ﺎﻨﻠﻗ و (cid:281) ﻪِ ﻴﻓِ ﺎﻧﺎﻛ
On earth will be a dwelling place for
you and an enjoyment for a time." ٌ َ َ َّ ٌّ َ َ ۡ ُ ۡ َ ۡ ۡ ُ َ َ ٌّ ُ َ
عﺎﺘﻣ و ﺮﻘﺘﺴﻣ ضر(cid:176)ﻟا ﻲ(cid:414) ﻢﻜﻟ و (cid:277) وﺪﻋ
ِ ِ
ۡ ٰ
﴾۳۶﴿ (cid:450)(cid:456)ﺣِ ﻲ(cid:438)اِ
ٍ

37. Then Adam received from his ۡ َ َ َ َ َ ٰ َ ّ َّ ۡ ُ َ ٰ ّٰٓ َ َ َ
Lord Words. And his Lord pardoned (cid:276) ﻪِ ﻴﻠﻋ بﺎﺘﻓ ﺖٍ ﻤِﻠﻛ ﻪٖ ِﺑر ﻦﻣِ مد ا ﻲ(cid:417)ﻠﺘﻓ
him (accepted his repentance).
Verily, He is the One Who forgives ُ ۡ َّ ُ َّ َّ َ ُ ٗ َّ
(accepts repentance), the Most ﴾۳۷﴿ ﻢ(cid:541)ﺣِ ﺮ(cid:472)ا باﻮﺘﻟا ﻮﻫ ﻪﻧاِ
Merciful.
