As a parent or caretaker, one of your most important responsibilities is making quality child care arrangements for your family when you go to work, school or training. Although you may get help locating child care from your friends, relatives or a child care resource and referral agency, it is your responsibility to make sure the child care arrangement is safe and right for your child. In order to assist you, the Department of Human Services funds Child Care Resource and Referral offices across the state. The office in your area can help you find child care and get help paying for it. You can also get applications for help with child care payments by calling the Department of Human Services at 1-800-843-6154 (TTY: 1-800-447-6404). r ■■■■■■■■■ Boone, JoDaviess, Stephenson, Winnebago YWCA Child Care Resource & Referral 220 S.
