About the Authors
ohn Bigley and Paris Permenter fell in love with the Caribbean over a
Jdozen years ago and have turned their extensive knowledge of the re-
gion into an occupation. As professional travel writers and photogra-
phers, the pair contribute travel articles and photographs on the US and
the Caribbean to many national consumer and trade publications. The
husband and wife team have also written numerous guidebooks.
The writing team are the authors of numerous Hunter guides: Adventure
Guide to the Cayman Islands, Adventure Guide to the Antigua, Barbuda,
Nevis, St. Barts, St. Kitts & St. Martin, Cayman Islands Alive!, Jamaica:
A Taste of the Island, Jamaica Alive!, Nassau and the Best of the Baha-
mas Alive! and The Bahamas: A Taste of the Islands. Presently the team
