Committing adultery is one of the

major and gravest sins

All types of praises are only for Allah, the Almighty.
We all praise Him, seek assistance from Him and ask
forgiveness from him. We seek refuge with Him from
the evil of our souls, and the protection from evil deeds
and wrong doings. He, whom, Allah the Almighty
leads, no one can mislead him. And whom Allah, the
Almighty misguides, no one can guide him. I testify
that there is no god worthy to be worshipped, except
Allah, the Almighty alone, and I testify that
Muhammad is his slave and Messenger.
Allah the Most High says in the Holy Book:
(32:.i^i).5Lu- ‘CJdL>-ls (jlS <01 ^JjJl
“And come not near to unlawful sex. Verily, it is an immoral
sin’ (it is major sin) ‘and an evil way’ (meaning a terrible and
unacceptable way to behave).” (Al-Isara:32)
In the mentioned Qur’aanic verse Allah the Lord,
the Creator has condemned illegal sexual intercourse.
Adultery is one of the major, and worst sins.
Fornication disgraces the nation, destroys the people,
brings poverty and burns the values of the society. It
darkens the future of the coming generation, because

the generation born through this evil act has the very
germs of evil.
Protecting the social life and human’s respect, Islam
forbids this evil behavior.
Writing about this topic, I would like to divide this
topic into the following parts:
Firstly: That adultery is one of the major and gravest
sins.
Secondly: Prohibition of Homosexuality
Thirdly: A report on Aids

Fourthly: That avoiding adultery is a great virtue.
i As regard to the first part, the Prophet HI said that it

is one of the signs of the Last day.

Narrated Anas ^ he said: I will narrate to you
a Hadith which none will narrate to you after me. I
heard Allah's Messenger HI saying: From among the
portents of the Hour are (the following):

1. (Religious) knowledge will decrease (by the
death of religious learned men).
2. (Religious) ignorance will prevail.
3. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual
intercourse.
4. Women will increase in number and men will
decrease in number so much so that fifty women
will be looked after by one man. (Bukhaari)
The mentioned Hadith sites that the prevalence of open
illegal sexual intercourse is one the signs of the Last
Day. No doubt, these days, the people who dare to say
that they are very well civilized are in favour of this
shameless act.
When one involves in this bad act at that time his
Eimaan is taken away from him.

Abu Hurayrah said that the ProphetiH said: "At the
time an adulterer is committing the unlawful sexual
intercourse, he is not a believer; at the time a person is
partaking an alcoholic drink, he is not a believer; at the
time a thief is stealing, he is not a believer."
(Bukhaari)

In the narration, there is a clear message for those who
are involved in this gravest sin, they are not perfect in
their faith and their lust of committing adultery is
taking them far away from their true faith and
humanity.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah<&, he said that the Prophet
ill said:
“When a person commits fornication at that time his
Eimaan goes away from him but stays like an umbrella
on him; and if he repents then it returns to him.” (Abu
Dawood1)
The Hadith shows deficiency in the adulator’s faith,
who loses his faith day by day, being involved in this
major sin. If he does not repent and turn to Allah
regretting for his sin he will lose completely his faith
at the end, because the consequence of the major sins is
infidelity.

Sheikh Al-Albaani declared it Sahih in Abu Dawood #4690, Mishkaah
#60 and in Silsilah Al-Sahihah#509.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah 4= that the Messenger of
Allah observed: There are three persons with whom
Allah would neither speak nor would He^ absolve
them on the Day of Resurrection. Abu Mu’awiyah
added: HetM would not look at them and there is
grievous torment for them: the aged adulterer, the liar
king and the proud destitute.
(Muslim and Nisaa’ee)
Allah is the Most Kind, the Most Gracious to His
creature, He is full of Mercy; but when human kind
transgresses and breaks His limits then He gets so
angry, no one can imagine! One of those who earns
Allah’s wrath is an old man who is looking for adultery
in his old age. Allah will not speak to him on the Last
Day neither purify him of his sins and nor look at him
with mercy.

It has been narrated from Ibn ’Masu’d-^., who narrated
from the Prophet^, he said, “Fornication and usury
would never appears in a nation, except that it will be
exposed to Allah’s chastisement.”
Living in this very much advanced and civilized world,
the poor and rich, the eastern and western are suffering
in very mysterious ways. Allah is punishing the world
in mysterious ways, no one sits to think why this is
happening, why are the innocent suffering, the world is
starving, many incurable diseases are occurring, people
are slaughtering one another, there is no peace of mind
and humanity is in crave of wealth and lusts. Because,
the rich want to be rich in any way, that is why the
Capitalists are imposing the world order on the poor
nations and after lending them money charge many
folds interest and are in favor of globalization.
Particularly, the Muslim Ummah is under interest debts
up to their necks. To fulfill the lusts the nations are
very much involved in illegal sexual intercourse, which
is a curse and curse takes one away from the mercy of
Allah.
