Dedication This book is dedicated to my two beautiful sons, James and Jack, who are truly a blessing. You are the best children a mother could ever hope for — thank you so much for being such good boys. I owe my strong foundation and wordsmith capabilities to my late parents, who I know would be ecstatic to see this book in print. I’d also like to dedicate it to my husband and my entire family for their support and inexhaustible encouragement. Author’s Acknowledgments I’d like to start with Kathleen Dobie, my project editor. Thank you so much for walking me through this process. Your emails, support, and attitude made collaboration very enjoyable. A big thank you for taking my thoughts and ideas and helping me turn them into a presentable, readable text. Thank you Anam Ahmed, my project manager, for presenting me with this opportunity and entrusting me to write your vision. The enthusiasm you’ve shown for this book was contagious. Thank you Allison Tannis, the technical reviewer of this book, as well as the recipe tester, Emily Nolan, and nutritional analyst, Patty Santelli, who had their hands full with my culinary visions. Finally, I want to include everyone at John Wiley & Sons who was involved with this project. The editors, production staff, artists — I may not know each of you by name, but your hard work is what takes a bunch of words and turns them into an engaging, finished product.
