Itaccomplishesthis by providing post-baccalaureate degreeand nondegree programs in a varietyofsub-specialtyareasnotavailablethroughothereducationalinstitutions.TheNPSalso supportsthe DoNthroughthecontinuing programsofnavaland maritime research andthroughthe maintenanceofanexpertfacultycapableofworking in,orasadvisorsto,operationalcommands, laboratories, systemscommands,and headquartersactivitiesoftheNavyand MarineCorps.
