В основу пособия положены принципы компетентностного подхода (skills- based approach), который прослеживается в том, что каждая тема направлена на формирование и отработку определенного навыка. Упражнения, представленные в пособии, построены по принципу возрастающей сложности и готовят студентов к решению коммуникативных задач академического характера.
