Photographs oftheadultsandthegenitaliaareprovided, anda keyfortheidentification ofthespeciesinthe genus is given. Key words Lepidoptera, Tortricidae, Olethreutinae, Sillybiphora, newspecies, China. The genus Sillybiphora was erected by Kuznetsov in segment shorter than second, slightly drooping. Thorax 1964 with S. devia (Kuznetsov) as the type species. To dark brown. Tegula grayish white. Forewing with date it includes only one species (Brown, 2005) , which upperside ground color grayish brown, apex and tornus was previously recorded in China (Kuznetsov,2001;Liu grayish white; pattern elements includingindistinctfasciae &Li, 2002). In this paper we describe one new species , and white costal strigulae; basal patch indistinct , formed S. pauliprotuberans sp. nov. based on the specimens by dark brown streaks and spots; postmedian fascia dark collected from Yunnan Province. All the studied brown; terminal patch grayish white, suboval and large , specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection, College equal to width of the forewing; costa with nine strigulae of Life Sciences , Nankai University, Tianjin, China. from base to R ; each strigula with a gray silvery stria 4 extending obliquely; strigulae one to four distributed Sillybiphora Kuznetsov, 1964 Sillybiphora Kuznetsov, 1964: 886; Razowski, 1989: 187; 1999: 489; between base of the wing and the point where Sc meets Kuznetsov,2001:299; Liu &Li, 2002: 369. Type species: Sillybiphora costa; pairs of strigulae one and two occupying devia Kuznetsov,1964. interfascial position, between basal and subbasal fascia, Diagnosis. The genus Sillybiphora is closely related to situated before 1 5 forewing length , striae rarely Ancylis Hübner [1825] in the male genitalia , but can be extending beyond Sc; pairs of strigulae three and four distinguished from the latter by the forewing lacking a occupying interfascial position between subbasal and falcate or elongate apex and the signum horned. In median fascia, with striae extending backward to 1 3 Ancylis, the forewing has a falcate or elongate apex; and forewing length of costa and midwing, respectively; the signum is flattened with a blade shaped termination. strigulae five and six approximate at distal margin of It is also similar to Pseudacroclita Oku , 1979 in the male median fascia, appearing as a single paired strigula; striae genitalia, but can be recognized by the slender from them extending obliquely to 1 3 forewing length of subrectangular cucullus , the obtuse apex and the costa, broken by fuscous spots; the distal three pairs indistinct neck of the valva; in Pseudacroclita , the cucullus distributed between pairs of veins R R , R R and R 1 2 2 3 3 is broadly subtriangular; the ape3x is acute; and the neck R4 , respectively; striae arisingfrom them often becoming is distinct. confluent , and extending obliquely to termen between R 5 Key to the species of Sillybiphora Kuznetsov based on the male and M ; cilia grayish brown intermitted with white; 1 genitalia underside brown.
