A basic model estimatesthe eligibilityforsix market segmentsforfourmental outcomes, (1) hightech, (2) high quality and not high tech, (3) mental category 3B and (4) not eligibleforthe military labor market. A second model estimates the interest in military employmentforeach market segment giventheirlikelihood of being qualifiedforthe highly technical ratings. Thethird model is based onthe results ofthefirsttwo models and estimatesthe actualjoining behavior of each market segment ofthe hightech market giventheirlevel of interest inthe military. 20.
