Up to thepresent, threespeciesof Tiberioides, T kuwerti (ARROW, 1907),T borealis(ARROW,1907),andT austen1GRAVELY, 1914, havebeen known fromtheeasternHimalayasandMyanmar(GRAVELY,1914;ARROW,1950;KoNetal., 1999a,b). WhenweexaminedaseriesofTiberioldesspecimenspreservedinthecollectionof the Natural History Museum, London, we found aseriesofspecimensof aspecies distinct fromall theknownmembersof thisgenus. After a close examination and comparisons, weconcludedthat this formwasnewtoscience. Thereafter, weobtained someadditionalspecimensof this formcollected from Kachin, Myanmar.
