AsregardsapterousLathrobium,onlyonespecies,Lathrobiumpo11ens,hashith- ertobeenreported fromKoreabyPAIK(1985,p i t, fig 9). Throughthecourtesyof Dr.HidetoHosHINA,IhaverecentlyhadanopportunitytoexamineanapterousLath- robiumobtainedonMt.NajangsaninJeonlabuk-doProvince,Korea. Itseemstobe- longtothegroupofL.(s.str)montlcolaSHARP(1889,p 255),whichcanbedistin- guished fromthatofL.(s.str)pollensbysmallbodyandinconspicuoussecondary sexualcharacter oftheabdomenin themale. Afteracarefulexamination, it hasbe- comeclearthatthisspeciesisnewtoscienceforreasonofdisagreementwithLmon- tlcolainconfigurationofthemalegenital organ. Itwillbedescribed inthepresent paper. Bodyelongate,paralle_lsidedandsomewhatdepressedabove.Co1ou「b「oWnSih blackandmoderatelyshining,withsutureandapicalmarginreddishb「own,mandibles andantennaeyellowishred,legsbrownishyellow. Antennae elongate,extendingtothemiddleofpronotumandnotthickenedtowardsapicalseg- ment,twoproximalsegmentspolished,theremainingsopaque,1stsegmentrobustand stronglywidenedapicad,morethantwiceaslongasbroa 2ndto11thequal inwidth tooneanother,2ndconstrictedatthebase,1.5timesaslongasbroadthoughahalfas longasanddistinctly narrower than1st(2nd/1st=0.73),3rdelongatethoughsome- whatdilatedapicad,1.5timesaslongasbroadandalmostaslongas2n 4th and 5th equal inlengthtoeachother,eachalittlelongerthanbroad(length/width=1.25)but somewhatshorter than3rd(4thor 5th/3rd=0.83), 6thto10thmoreor lessmonili- form,equal inlengthtooneanother,eachslightly longer thanbroad(length/width= 1.13)butsomewhatshorter(eachof6thto10th/5th=0.90) than5th,11th fusiform, apparently longer thanbroad (length/width=1.75) andabout 15 times as long as 10th,subacuminateatthetip. Medianlobeslightlyshorter than fusedparamere,widestatthe middleandmorestronglynarrowedapicadthanbasad;ventralsclerotizedpiecesub- rhomboidal,widestnear themiddleandremarkablynarrowedbothbasadandapicad thoughnearlyparallel-sidedinposterior thir apexobtuselypointedinventral view thoughbrieflycurvedventradand formingasmall hookasseen fromlateralside. Fusedparamererelativelybroadandslightlyasymmetrical;vieweddorsally,widestat basal fourthandthengraduallynarrowedbothbasadandapicadthoughstronglysoin apicalpartwhichisslightlyinclinedtotheleftsideandacutelypointedatthetip,sur- facefinelyandlongitudinallycarinatealongthemedianline, thecarinaabbreviated nearapicalthird. Female. Similar tomaleingeneralappearanceaswellas inconfigurationof 8th abdominal sternite, but the ist to4thprotarsa1segments arenot so strongly widened. Typeseries. Holotype: , allotype: Korea,Jeonlabuk-doProv.,JeongebCity, , Mt.NaeJangsan,NaejangsaTemple,GeumseonValley,24~25-VI-2000,H.HOSHINA & M.MARUYAMAleg.Paratypes:3 2 ,samedataas for theholotype.The type , 326 Yasuaki WATANABE specimens are deposited in the Department of Biology, Natural ScienceCollege, ChungnamNationalUniversity,Taejon,Korea,except for threeparatypes(2 , 1e) which arepreserved in thecollection oftheLaboratory of Insect Resources, Tokyo UniversityofAgriculture. Remarks. Thepresent newspeciesissimilar inbodysizeand facies toL. (s. str)monticola fromJapan,butisdifferent fromitinthefollowingpoints:headaslong asbroadandmoredistinctly narrowedanteriaci,elytralesstransverse,surfacemore denselyandmorecoarselypunctured;8thabdominalsterniteinmalemoredistinctly roundedintheapicalmargin;medianlobeofmalegenitalorganslightlyshorterthan fusedparamere,sclerotizedventralpiecenearlyparallel-sidedinposterior thir fused paramererelativelybroadandabruptlycurveddorsadinapical fourthasseen fromlat- eralside. Bionomics. The type specimens were found in dead leaves in a deciduous broadleaved forestintheGeumseonValleyonMt.Naejangsan. Etymology. ThespecificepithetofthepresentnewspecieisderivedfromKorea inwhichliesthetypelocality“Mt.Naejangsan”. 要 約 渡辺泰明:韓国全羅北道から採集されたチビコバネナガハネカクシに近緑の1新種. - 韓 国からはこれまでに, ナガハネカクシ属に含まれる後翅の退化した種として, コバネナガハネ カクシただ1種が記録されているに過ぎなかった. 本年6月下旬, 保科英人博士および丸山宗 利氏によって, この種群に含まれる1種が全羅北道井邑市の内粧山で採集された. 保科博士の ご厚意でこの種を検討した結果, 体長および雄の腹部の第二次性徴が不明瞭な点で, チビコバ ネナガハネカクシに近縁の種と判断された. しかしながら,頭部は長さと幅が等しく, 前方に より明瞭に狭まること, 翅鞘はより密に, より粗く点刻されること, さらに雄交尾器の形状に も差異が認められたので新種と判定し, L.(s.str)co,・eanun,と命名・記載した.
