goingtorecordthisspeciesforthefirst timefromKwantoDistrict.

brunnico11is (KRAATz, 1877) by lacking dark medianportion of pronotum. According to
personalcommunicationwithDr.Shuhei NoMURA,however,E bicolor lmasakai issosimilarto
E brunnlco11isthat itmaybeincludedintherangeof individualvariationofthelatterspecies.
Sincethereisnopaperdefinitelyproposingtheirsynonymy, IprefertorecordthisspecimenasE
bicolorimasaka1for thetimebeing.
