Amongscarabaejdspecimens,whichDr.DavidKRALofCharlesUniversity in pragueofferedtotheauthors,theyhaveselectedoutandstudiedapairofmaterialsbe- 1ongjngtothetrjbeDjchotomini fromChina.Afteradetailedexamination,theyhave concludedthatthesebelongtoaspeciesnewtoscience.Itwillbedescribedinthepres- entpaperunderthenameofParachoriuskralisp nov. ThisnewspeciesresemblesPal・achorlusthonlsoniHAROLD,1873,origi- nallydescribed from“IndiaOr”, butcanbedistinguished from the latter by the clypeus gently angulate, thepronotommoreclearly punctate, theelytraobviously punctate-striate,theintervalmoreclearlypunctate,themalemetafemurwiththeposte- rioredgenottoothedbutwidelyproduced, feeblyangulateatapical2/5,andthemota- tibianotabruptlywidenedatapicalpartbutsimplygraduallysoapicad.
